Hands up if you hate Gwen?

Calm down everybody, this isnt' another what a crap expansion post. I love GW:EN.

I'm talking about the character. I hate her. She's such a royal pain in the behind! It's like she's jacked up on ritalin. I just want to sit her down and tell her to chill the f**k out. Seriously.

Just wanted to have my rant. Anyone else feel this way? Are there any other characters you guys don't like? I don't mean in a game design way, just in an "If I met you I'd probably hate you" kind of way...

I can't stand the Assura anymore, all those taunts that they give you when talking to NPCs are annoying. I just lower my speaker volume

But I also love Gwen (the game) and as always I love GW.

Gwen just doesn't like furries. Same as most i think.

I hate the ending cinematic of the Ebon Guard campaign after you've released the prisorners. She's just bitching about everything and hell yeah I hate her.

Gwen = ftl, she was annoying in pre, she still i now.

Just plain annoying. Eeeks. Every time she appears on the screen, I feel like slapping her, seriously.

Hate is too strong a word, but she is too much of a "problem teen" cliche, for me. I kinda zone out whenever she speaks. She'd be a stronger character if she burried her pain and only let it out every once in a while, instead of blah, blah, charr, blah.

I agree! She is like that chick you date for awhile and she drives you nuts the whole time but the sex is wild so you put up with it. Untill one day you can't take anymore and stop returning her calls. Then she starts to stalk you, but that just makes you want her more......i'm messed up

I hate the Asura. Is anyone else getting depply offended by their "booka" comments? It is starting to remind me of a certian racial slur that begins with N.

Yeah, i m with you. I didnt realy like her when i met her but i realy disliked her once the group met Pyre, maybe the Charr will take her off my hands

Well her homeland was destroyed by the charrs, everyone she knows gone, her family gone, her role model gone, her flute....broken. How would you act if you're in her boots? I say the girl did pretty well keeping herself together.

Come on, she's a scripted voice actress and some animation routines displayed as pixels. Really, try not to immerse yourself so much.

For those reasons I put up with her attitude! I think Hayda is far more annoying than Gwen.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I actually liked the cutscenes with Gwen and Pyre. I was actually hoping there'd be more of them. I dislike Pyre though. He has a cool voice, but I hate his personality. I was actually hoping Gwen would teach him a lesson in some of the later cutscenes. I would have been rooting her on the whole way through.
