The design a weapon winners

Ever since they announced the winners of this contest I was atleast partially interested in seeing some of the in game versions of these. And now that eye of the north is actually out, it seems like they didn't make any of the actual winners besides the glacial blade.

The thing that really strikes me as odd is they made one of the runners up(the rose focus) and even an honorable mention(the darksteel longbow). All of the 2005 winners were included in the game, so whats the deal here? Only way I can actually see them including the other designs is through the bonus mission pack thats eventually coming, I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one.

The Design-A-Weapon winners are not yet in the game. It's really that simple, and it's exactly as we said in the contest information. The weapons will be added, and we have some fun ideas for that, so look for that in the future.

Endgame Prophecies greens! Woot!

That would be cool... though i seriously doubt that will happen.

I'd love to see some endgame weapons addded to Prophecies. It's pretty anti-climactic just to be taken back to Droknars Forge upon beating the game, especially if you've finished any of the other games before this.

But either way, I'm really looking forward to what they're going to do with this. I'm guessing a few of them will be available from the Bonus pack missions, which would be very mean for those of us who can't get it.

Ya I can hear the outcries of Nightfall and Faction players... reaping the goods of an expansion they don't need.

Perhaps they will be added with the addition of the new god realms. ^.~

Yeah it would be nice for them to add a new endgame part to Prophecies. New endgame armor/weapons. *cough* *wink* Come on Anet!

While greens are good for newbs and all that, it takes the fun away not being able to modify them. (customisation doesn't count )

Nah you guys got it all wrong... The design a weps contest winners will be added in at the same time as GW:EN Hard Mode (which has already been confirmed to be in the works, unlike Phrophecy endgame items).

Well thank you Gaile for that bit of information, I was thinking that they were supposed to be released with eye of the north, I must have been thinking of the brand the bosses contest which were all included in it.

Well, it's not like they'll be recognised in your HoM...

(Can always hope though.)
