While collectible drops are worth saving?

EotN is killing my inventory. I'm saving all the collectibles not knowing what might be useful.

So far I see one collectible worth saving -- destroyer cores, which you need 10 of as part of High Priest Alkar's quest http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Destructive_Research

Are any of the other collectible drops worth saving for, for other quests, or perhaps particularly nice collector weapons?

Destroyer Cores are also used for the Destroyer (magma) Gloves, and 250 of them too. Stock up on those. Glacial Stones are used for the ice gloves, so keep those as well. Don't know of any other collectibles that are used for anything good/wanted.

oh yeah -- glacial stones, forgot about those.

So armor collectors use those too.......

I wonder if Impressive Charr Carvings will have a use for Wintersday?

Check the posts that show the new GWEN armour collectors. I seem to remember that Superb Chaar carvings and Vaettir Essences are needed in quantity as well as the Cores and Glacial stones.

Oh btw, Ive seen ppl all day trying to buy up cores for prices over 1k/each.

I just hope something good is used with piles of elemental dusts.......with my growing collection I'll corner that market =/

stone grawl necklaces - honeycombs.
Blobs of ooze - dp remover.
stone summit emblems - 15^50 weaps
frigid mandragor husks - 15^50 weaps

The vanguard dungeon called cathedral of flames has collectors for:
blindfold - 50 diessa chalices
dreadmask - 25 Golden Rin relics

250 superb charr carving: Mo Zing Mask (ninja mask)
100 glacial stones: Glacial Gauntlets (ouch used to be 35 glacial stones)

D'oh! I've been merching Vaettir Essences. Shoot. I have superb charr carvings I'll probably end up selling, though. :P

I knew about this, but continue to sell all but my destroyer cores... >.< I need a post-it note on my screen to remind me to stop selling them...

I'd sell all my collectable drops if I were you... especially since they're worth so much to players now. Better rake in a fortune while you can before the inevitable farming builds come surfacing xD
