just found it in a chest at the end of a dungeon.

dunno what is it for...

hmm if its at the end of the dungeon, i would suspect its a collectors trade item, but can not be overly shore, Hmm, has got me wondering

It's for a quest the merchant in Doomlore Shrine.

I'm not so sure. I still have mine, but got the quest reward et al from the merchant. I think there's more to this thing.

I have a few of them as well, it is part of the quest it seems he just isn't taking them upon getting the reward. If you go get 'Temple of the Damned' while you have one in your inventory it updates that part of the quest right away and just leaves you with the kill the boss requirement. The part of the quest it updates as soon as you take it is 'Find a sacked relic and return it to Gron Fierceclaw.

Wow just noticed the location of the keys and timer on your screenshot, you know you can move all that out of the middle of the screen and to the top or wherever right?

Uhm guys, in the "Cathedral of Flames" there is a collector, for 25 of those you get a mask or something. Personally, I need 49 more Rin Cups :P
