indestructible golem

I am doing the "Elusive Golemancer" quest in Oola's laboratory. I have been able to get as far as the indestructible golem, but i dont see how to beat it. theres obviously that flux matrix that you can pick up and theres the little energy port thing in the room that seems to be where i put it, but it doesnt allow me to. all efforts and crazy stuff ive tried doesnt work, so I'm seeing if someone knows how to beat it. any help u can give is appreciated.

btw, this quest/mission is the stupidest thing ive ever seen in gw. I dont know who the heck thought up that shitty area and obstacles, but it is the most annoying thing ive ever had to do trying to figure out each levels little secret in a region that doesnt look very appealing and just doesnt have much going for it in the first place.

Drop the item near the golem after you put it into the machine. It may look like nothing happened to the item but it has changed.

pick up flux matirx, go to power thingy, fill flux matrix up, drop deal huge damage. Repeat 3 times...dead golem

I jsut picked up flux matrix and clicked on taht unstable nergy thingy, than it said the device is charged, dropped it and golem went 50%hp, than picked up again, refilled, dropped, and golem dead :P

Have you noticed the flux matrix does 1337 dmg? Made me laugh

In my opinion that was one of the best quests in the game, it actually required you to think a bit and no t only c-space ftw. The biggest problem for me was going through fire darts part, the hero-hench just didn't want to stay near the golem ;/ had to finish it with 60% dp, but still had a blast doing it.
