The In Game store has started selling GW:EN

Yeah the store can handle the load, the real fun will be when it goes live...:> Cause even for those us that already been to GWEN there will probably be new stuff to download, other stuff that wasn't in the preview.

Wolfwing, remember that the poeple using the store at the moment will be mainly US players. EU should be in bed and ANZ are at school or at work. EU wake up around release time and ANZ knock-off (finish work) around release time, so we will all potentially hit the store around the same time... Add to that the US players who don't yet release the store is selling.

Ok, so they sent me a CD-Key but it says it is in use!

Check your account to make sure that it isn't already there. If you bought on the ingame store it should be, and the email is just to confirm the key. If the key isn't there, email support, add screenies of your transaction - I hope you took some. This is basically the only way Anet can confirm the purchase.

Wife and I Just got ours. Everything worked fine. At least I have something to look forward to after work tomorrow.

It wasn't showing on manage keys but is now, after a restart. Sorry, panicked, which is understandable considering other things which haven't gone to plan with GW recently...

Cool the pre-order subtracts money but doesn't make much of a difference after tax and such..

i have to wait until tomorrow night to buy it from the ingame store.... my dad has a boot lock on my computer during the school week, so i cant even turn it on before Friday after school.

You only pay taxes online if you live around CA where Anet HQ is located.

Just got mine purchased. So awesome. Best experience I've had with the online store. It's been sorta buggy in the past. 8) So excited!

Urban Tiger and Flubber, what state are you guys in? I'm in Cali, and I have to pay sales tax on all ingame purchases. Obviously I think that sucks. Does Anet or NCSoft have a physical presence in Cali? That would explain why there is tax, though I still think it sucks, charging tax on a virtual item.


I just saw Bane of Worlds' explanation about the Anet HQ.

Tried to buy my GWEN and it won't let me. I did buy proph for my g/f and I tried to use the same CC a few hours later

yea California there is practically tax on the air i breathe...

So I bought my GWEN through the ingame store about an hour ago. Everything worked fine and is added. I am wondering, through, how do we know we've gotten the November Bonus aside from knowing that we've spent $30+. There doesnt seem to be a "key" added for that bonus. All I can tell is that we have to trust that Anet will get things right and activate it on our accounts. It would be nice to have some confirmation that it has been activated and we will get the bonus in November.

Does anyone else have any information on this?

Hmm, on the positive side, if I do buy from the ingame store now I will definately have the bonus pack Probably have managed it twice over even (yes, all in the same timeframe). Pity I can't pass one off to my sister's account.
