Speaks for itself really, anyone know if gaile has said there's any treasure chests or do not touch areas in EOTN?

I didn't see anything like that. Seems like it's more about dungeon rewards than treasure hunting.

Yeah, it looks like the dungeon end chests are quasi infinitely repeatable buried treasures.
Although who knows!
We still have to play with the TNT dwarf and Light of Deldrimor to see if there are possibly secret treasures hiding in the zones. :O

In the Battledepths there are barrels, on occasion, when licking them - they generated random white items, not treasure but something.

Possibly a 'Light of Deldrimor' door I found there as well. - couldn't open it obviously, but a definitely suspicious looking wall.

Yeah I clicked a monster past the wall and hit spacebar and ran towards a wall and stopped. XD
I'm thinking it's a secret wall.

mmm...barrel flavour!

i dont think there will be any buried treasure in EOTN...repeatable dungeons with decent quest rewards kinda make it pointless

with the repeatable dungeon end chests and quest rewards, i think adding a couple of treasure chests into the mix would be overkill.

of course, i wouldnt mind it

but i doubt there will be any treasure chests in eotn.

1. done nothing
2. dropped a random white -_-
3. an ooze attacked me
4. blew up in my face for 100 damage

I wonder what else that barrel can do?

Personally I think that barrel was just placed there as an homage (or mockery) towards diablo-esque style dungeon crawl looting.

for once a thread that actually got me to laugh out loud, very unusual,

barrel licking will soon become a olympic sport, if not most likely incorporated into Norn beerfests

kind of agrre that treauser isn;t really appropriate with 18 dungeons contain fabulous wealth in them though

I found MANY places with suspicuous walls, lighter surfaces with rectangular shapes, and walls that somewhow do not fit 'there'.

And more importantly. I found red enemy dots in places with no way to get there.

Secret walls, maybe?

Yeah, I saw a barrel and thought "ooh, teh free itamz???"....clicked it...and it blew up in my face. T_T

I realize now maybe I should have licked it instead? xD
