Watchtower Coast mapping

Hello,
I'm trying for cartographer title, off and on. Getting serious now. This forum is very helpful. But I have a question - I've noticed some maps of Watchtower Coast. There's an island at the north end. But I can't get it to unfog like the maps I see. I've gone really really slow and into all these nooks and crannies. Anyone have any ideas. I'm posting a pic to show you what I do have. Maybe someone knows how to get to the area around that island. You can compare maps and see how the east side of the island on my pic isn't unfogged. Whatever help is appreciated. thanks!

If you check the map on guildwiki, it's still foggy too. Same with some GMC maps.

Do consider that some people are running texture mods these days, and some of these mods eliminate fog completely. As a result, what you might see on a "completely unfogged" map these days varies greatly compared to what it used to be, considering you're often getting a "no fog" map instead of a "100% explored" map.

Here's a zoomed in version of my map of Watch Tower Coast, specifically the island that you're looking for. As you can see the top half of it is shaded in as well.

I have an old U-map screenshot that contains more beach at the east side.
I don't have GW present atm, but I think it will look the same as the shot in the OP.

Since the Tyrian map was changed to include the GWEN areas the U-maps have changed and now have 'fog' on places that were previously uncovered.
Even worse, visible fog over main paths, like in Bloodstone mission.

Make sure you compare to U-maps shot with the new Tyrian map (including GWEN areas) and not the old Tyrian map.
