Gaile on HoM

i agree...i have used my primar toon a warrior to chase all titles...except for the Survivor and LDOA because IT WAS TOO LATE TO GET THEM! total BS...and Mini pets...TOTAL BS again...i mean come on there are 4 million users...what percent is 100 of 4Million...that is the percentage of people that will have rare pets...and not only that if they customize them then they will be worthless...so that means no RARE pets will be in HoM

YOU CAN RESERVE A NAME.................YOU DONT HAVE TO USE IT BUT IT IS THERE IF YOU REALLY WANT IT........OK SO FAR????
WHO SAID YOUR DESCENDANT HAS TO HAVE THE SAME NAME?
THE ONLY THING SAID WAS THAT YOU HAVE TO PICK A GW2 CHARACTER WHO WILL INHERITE THAT MONUMENTS CONTENTS.
EACH CHARACTER IN GW WHO CREATES A MONUMENT GIVES A DIFFERENT DESCENDANT A HERRITAGE
YOU WANT TO TRADE PETS FROM GW1 CHARACTER TO CHARACTER?...WAIT TO PUT IT IN THE MONUMENT FOR A YEAR OR TWO.
I fail to understand this at all. Having so many titles character based was already driving people to experience less and less of the games content by encouraging title-seekers to focus on a single character, making HoM character based rather than account based forces us more and more in that direction. Are they tired of selling us character slots or something?
Assuming there are players in the game who prefer to use multiple characters to play the different classes (I am one of them), why do they keep alienating that base of players with decisions like this? This is obviously a bad decision from a players point of view. Can anyone possibly see the upside for Anet? I cannot.
It seems that when this game started out, they were very player focused, and wanted to make the game easier to enjoy. I boasted to players of other games about how frequently the game was patched, as evidence of how player focused Anet was. Any more I am dreading each update. The Gladiator title change, for example, cost me thousands of faction points, as it lowered my faction cap. That, I am sure, was a simple mistake. But I no longer have any idea where Anet is trying to go with this game. As each change no longer makes things more enjoyable, but just the opposite.

I would like to have a mini of a character of my choice (one of my own that is) in GW2. Perhaps they can add that into Hall of Monuments for your most accomplished character may get a mini of itself with the armors and weapons of choice that have been immortalized or whatever on the said mini as well. Not a mini for GW1 but for GW2 of a high accomplished GW1 character.
Well... Gaile's revelation is certainly interesting news. If I put a mini in the monument, nobody else can even have it follow them around? Not only can I not sell them, which I wouldn't do anyway, but not even another of MY characters can play with it?
That just means that, by no means whatsoever, will I EVER be putting a minipet into the HoM.
No matter what.
Ever.
Nossir. Even though I've collected 27 unique pets, that'll be one darned empty monument.
Nice that they fixed the insanity of multi-character holiday hats, only to replace it a million-fold with mini-pet exclusivity.
Whee.
Did I mention, NEVER?
