Maybe this was answered before but I couldn't find it...I was wondering if I play GWEN this weekend and get a nice drop, let's say a sword...I know I'll be able to keep it and use with it if I buy GWEN, but will I be able to use in Nightfall that I'm presently playing...I assume not, but just want to make sure because it may affect if I play it or not this weekend..thanks for your help...

Once the weekend event is over, you will not be able to use it until you add GWEN to your account.

This is something I was also wondering. Maybe they will temporarily "lock" items and heroes (like they do with Koss after Consulate Docks) when the event finishes...so you sill still have the items when the event goes live. I also want to know what happens if you leave a character in a GW:EotN outpost before the event finishes...is the character locked, or will they be "dropped off" in another town?

actually there is some information counter to that:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:...Peek_Weeken d

"That's correct. You may continue to use the items, but the skills and Heroes will be tied to the release and acquisition of GW:EN. By that I mean that if you get a GW:EN Hero during that weekend, you'll need to put in a GW:EN access key to make him or her available on August 31. --Gaile"

This implies that items will in fact be available after the sneak peek weekend

This might be the right place to warn people: if you get new heroes, be mindful about equipping them with your items, as those items will be locked with the heroes until you'll buy gw:en.

(in the same way items are locked with Koss after the docks mission until you free him).

Yep items with still be usable, it does however raise the question whether you will be able to buy armor and use that or there will be no armor sellers in the preview weekend.

What about title accomplishments? Cartography, Vanquishing mainly as I would assume only a certain few areas will be available anyway. Say I map 5% of EotN, or Vanquish the first area, will those stick with me or will I have to do it over upon release? On that same note, will EotN be a seperate area for the carto title or will it be added onto Tyria?

You will keep all progress in titles since it is a "head-start" event

And with regards to leaving people in EotN outposts, chars will probably be put into your GH if you have one, if not probably in a main town

I left one of my chars in the AB outpost in the factions preview and he got shifted to GH

so no vanquishing nor gaurdian titels this weekend, since you wouldnt have completed campaign.

Also some of your items will be deleted at random and most of the beer in your fridge will disappear

Title progress should stay, I doubt that GW:EN map areas will be added to the Tyrian Cartography title, whether or not there will be a EotN Cartography title is unknow as far as I know.
