Frequent disconnects since the scheduled serving maintenance

I should have typed "server" not "serving" in the title. I was just wondering if anyone else is getting disconnected since the scheduled server maintenance. I'm from central New York. Other friends of mine from NY seem to be getting kicked at the exact same time that I am.

I am getting kicked every 5-10 min for last day or so - I am in NYC - never had problems before...

I'm on the West Coast, and am lucky to get a full 15 minutes in before there is an issue with the Network Communication and I have to re-establish connection.

I've even been watching the ping on my screen, and goes from orange to green so quickly and even have been giving the screen freeze before the boot with a green ping.

Sent a ticket in hoping for some information about this issue, and if my response comes back before another's post in this regard will share it.

Most of the issues there is no code error, and once in a blue moon I will get a Code=007.

Just makes for a frustrating night, not to mention those working on survivor titles lol

sup, reagan; I'm dying a lot in lieu of this NY server problem (all my guildies/alliance mates are DCing too). I'm sure they realize what's going on, but it'd still be nice to know whats up. Wonder what the problem is. We're all on TS and everyone from New Yorks says "um... im casting spells but they aren't doing anything" and everyone not from NY says "yap... you just lost communication with the server." 15 seconds later... "oh... you just reconnected" or "want to meet in D1?"

I don't know. But it's every five or so minutes. I'm losing good drops because I get kicked. I hope ArenaNet can add something to this because it's really frustrating. Thanks for your posts.

My friends from NY are getting kicked also; I'd say every five minutes, or so. This all started the night of this week's server maintenance.

are you all on DSL? having the same probs here in MO. all guildies that are on dsl are getting 007 every 5 - 10mins. its to the point where you just cant play

I'm getting disconnected every 30 seconds to 5 minutes since the "network upate" on the 2nd.My game is totally unplayable.I'm located in northern New Jersey.

No, I'm not on DSL, but that was a good thought. I've got the fiberoptic connection or FioS, so it shouldn't be my connection. Besides, I can stay in teamspeak, but I get kicked from Guild Wars.

i just switched back to DSL a few days ago, but I'll be Cable again in a few days; if it's not fixed by then, i'll tell you how it works out. (it's funny to notice all the other 'i'm lagging/DCing lately' threads; Wonder if it's the same problem.)

I'm from New York too, just outside NYC. Frequent disconnects here every so often(I can usually reconnect back in, but by then we already died). I use a cable modem with Optimum Online(And their service is fantastic and fast). It doesn't matter, I keep getting those horrible lag spikes which make me disconnect into a reconnect(And rarely a err7 that makes it unable to reconnect).

I have a friend in Toronto, Canada who is also experiencing the same lag issues.

My friend in New Jersey(Cherry Hill area) is NOT experiencing the same lag or disconnects that I or my other friends are experiencing.

I'm in Europe and myself and many friends are having the same issues. Usually when one disco's at least 2-3 others from the team do as well.

Sure hope anet hurries up and gets this figured out!

Like I said in the other thread, I'm in NW Arkansas and I'm having a hell of a problem with lag. No disconnects yet, but the lag at times is making the game unplayable. When I ran -diag, from what I could tell packet loss was occuring on PlayNC's end. I submitted a support ticket along with my networkdiag.log and I would suggest everyone doing the same.

The past few days my friends and I have gotten disconnected from Guild Wars every 10 or 15 minutes. One of my friends lives in Northern New Jersey, as do I, and my other friend lives in New York. We're in ventrilo and we dont get disconnected from it, we only get kicked out of Guild Wars.

However, today none of us has gotten disconnected, but a couple guildies in our vent that live in Texas are expierencing some Lag issues and getting disconnected aswell.

Exactly the same for me, even have this happend with a guildie that is in canada and im in europe. ( so canadian player and European player get disconected at the same time, together with someone else.

I've been lagging out so much I haven't been able to do much HA on the double fame weekend. Annoying part is my internet is fine because I stay fine on vent, GW keeps disconnecting for me and 3 other guildies all at the same time. D:
