OK just to let you know I'm EXTREMELY upset right now at guild wars and I couldn't find somewhere to vent that would matter so i figured here someone might just read and actually care about guild wars and play almost 18 hour a day everyday like i do.I have pretty much given my life for this game well over $1600 invested,"not counting the 10,000+ hours I have logged.and I have done my part to make sure 5 of my closest friends bought and started playing Guild wars.

I know guild wars is the only game of it's kind MMORPG thats free to play. to me it owns World of Warcraft or everyquest 2 hands down.

But it seems as thought you'll are destroying the most exciting part of the game inch by inch sucking the live blood out of the game out at you leasure and the pain of alot of all the die hard guild wars players. If your not sure what I am referring to I'm talking about the titles earned in the game.sometimes for the better but most of the time for the worse. alot of people work hard for the hard to get titles such as Hero,Gladiator,Drunkard,explorer titles, and I look today and what would I see? hmm now instead of 10 wins in a row at random arena for a glat point it's 1 per win and 5 extras for 5 wins in a row. It's really seems like you'll are abandoning your dedicated players for your weekend players.I have spent countless hours perusing that title and I actually felt special when I got it.now the title is just being given away.wouldn't you rather have people feeling good about themselves and playing the game. I'm not sure about you but I love the feeling of having something thats hard to get. it's very satisfying.

another issue I have is you don't want people to buy gold from people selling on the Internet but yet you destroy the guild wars economy in game I've gone almost completely broken in the game because of this. it's kinda sad I've recently taken two new chars the whole way through nightfall beat the game with both of them and after buying just max armor had a book of secrets worth maybe 15k IF I'm lucky and 45k cash. that 60k in about 20 hours. but yet I go into an outpost and a sword or bow one that is perfect sells from 40k-100k+200ectos.....it's disappointing it really is.

Buy/farm greens or use collector items , you don't have to buy uber leet items.

18 hours a day? If I didn't think you were a liar, you'd need to take a break. And how exactly does one spend $1600 dollars on a game? Buying gold on ebay?

Nobody i forcing you to spend 40-100k + ectos for an item, you can goto a crafter or collector and get the exact same stats for 5k + materials or collector items. Just because you can't sell a superior vigor for 20k now (they used to be 100k as you may or may not recall) does not mean the economy is ruined. It just means that good equipment is much more available to CASUAL players, which is ANets target group.

18 hours a day...get outside for Christ sakes.

just send an email to arena-net with your account name and how much in-game gold you've bought. they'll fix the problems for you.

(oh and i know of at least 2 other free to play MMOs.... runescape and anarchy online....)

I take it you didn't take the liberty to read the threads on this forum about this issue. Gaile Gray, herself, replied to one of these threads and said it was a text error, which was never meant to go into the live game. The title is still 1 glad point per 10 consecutive wins.

Im sure the op relised that saying he plays 18 hours a day wasnt a good way to open. i mean come on 18? thats only 6 hours to sleep and even if you did when do you eat xD. And i guess the $1600 was on some kick ass computer, or just a ton of character slots :S.

$1600 accounts for 2 copys of all three games both haveing collectors edition I payed $900 just for the two copys of the collectors edition of the first game.. ok maybe I did strech it a lil by like $400. and I'm not to keen on being called gold buying slag..if I would have bought gold I wouldn't be broke now would I.

BTW if you have spend 10 thousand dollars on GW or 1 dollar it does not matter when you are trying to post a suggestion or opinion,these numbers should be left out of conversations cause they show a bad side of the person.

The player that payed 1 dollar ( took it over from a friend ) and the one that payed 10 thousand for it both their opinions are equally important it just a matter of what it is they are saying that.

My advice: go for a title or two that you enjoy doing. The game becomes unplayable and a chore when you try to go for too many titles. Titles almost killed the game for me due to the sheer amount of pointless time investment until I adopted that approach. Granted, at a certain point, there's not much else to do in game, but that is an entirely separate matter.

Second point of advice: my word, exaggerations or not, get away from the computer some.

You are right man I should of never put numbers into the letter but then again I wasn't planning on posting this online ether I sent it to anet and they ignored it and told me to post it on a fansite so thats what I did.

I probly shouldn't of even posted it here but I thought maybe some of you might see my worries and actully care about guild wars instead of trying to start a fight on here witch I'm not getting into with any of you.
