ordered preview/preorder and see something strange

I order the preview and now it also added that I have the CE version of nightfall with the dances. First off I never bought collectors edition nightfall and that showed up right after I purchased the preview. I figured i would go try /dancenew and such to see if it works but my dervish and paragon dont do anything new and do the regular dance.

Was this an added gift for being late or just a bug?

I noticed the same thing. Added the key but no special dances =/

A little off-topic yes... but I have a question.
Do we receive the pre-order items now or when GW:EN comes out?

btw, I don't have the NF dances on that screen.

a wiki note says you can acced pre order weapons now

It was actually like that before the last few updates. I noticed it when I had tried to get the mission bonus pack for Guild Wars; that’s where I noticed it was entered twice in. I wonder if it the place holders for the key bonus mission pack?

There are several other threads about the bonus items and pre-release of GW:EN. Please check for that before hijacking a thread.

So what brought this about? Registering Nightfall late or registering the pre-order/preview package?

Also, shouldn't that window now have a GW:EN header instead of the Nightfall heroes?

I'm showing 2 orders of the CE dances, since I actually got the CE for nightfall AND the pre-order pack through the store.

how do u get that up? .. i just bought the pre order thingy, wanna seee mine =D

log into your account and on the pleyer pick screen at teh bottom is a button for edit account. On that screen there is some checkboxes and choose mannage access keys. That screen will now show up when ya hit next.

EDIT: meh, i guess it is this: "# Trilogy Trial*: Access to all three Guild Wars games—Guild Wars®, Guild Wars FactionsTM, and Guild Wars NightfallTM for 10 hours or 14 days, whichever comes first. If you've never explored the continents of Tyria, Cantha, or Elona before, now is the perfect time!"

it must activate the trial, even if you are playing on your actual full account that already has all 3 games linked to it...? Ah well, hopefully nothing to worry about. /edit


hmmm, i just caught a glimpse of some red font text at the top left of my screen there now, it disappeared too fast to screenie it.

It said something to the effect of:

"You have approximately 30 mins remaining of your ... trial" i didnt catch all the words, but im pretty certain it was to do with the pre-order pack, which i bought earlier today.

Anyone seen this or know what is about to run out..?

FYI i have been playing on this full account for the last 3 months and just added the pre-order pack from the ingame store, onto the same account, so there should be no trial account running. *scratch*

I also got the red message counting down to Nightfall trial running out.. 60 mins, 30 mins, 60 seconds then 30 seconds. I have had Nightfall since it first came out and so I waited with interest to see if anything happened after time zero.

Nothing did I am glad to say.

I received the same messages regarding the trials running out. I've written to support about this because I think it's somewhat unfair to have these keys activated when I already had all 3 campaigns and had no need of them. I would have really preferred that they email us the key instead so I could give them to a friend. Everyone who's buying it from the online store will probably experience the same thing (my husband's trial access is about to run out too), we don't get a choice on when we want to use the trial access keys...they're just there. Mine are already expired...Is there anything that's going to be done about this??

Heh when the online store says it will be added directly to your account, I guess that's what they mean. It does seem kinda pointless and unfair, but I doubt there's anything that we can expect to be done about it.

-it looks like the trials are automatically activated, at least for NF. (notice I was playing factions on nub island when NF trial ran out?) if any of the other trials ran out, I didn't catch them. nor add them lol.
