It's 95+ degrees outside here. And when I looked the character select screen over, all I could think of was waxing up my skis!

Anyone else still getting the Nightfall music on the new load screen?

I think Anet should set it up so that a player could choose what their login screen is. Then when a player gets tired of one they can switch to another.

Fixed my issue with the Nightfall music. Turns out it's because I have the Nightfall soundtrack from Directsong installed. I went into the file "guildwars.ds" and commented out this line:

loginnf:Guild Wars Nightfall Original Soundtrack/01_Land_of_the_Golden_Sun.wma[500],Guild Wars Nightfall Original Soundtrack/41_Alternate_Theme(Bonus).wma[500],Guild Wars Battle Pak One/16_Rebirth.wma[1200],Guild Wars Battle Pak One/04_Return_to_Ascalon.wma[1200]

Stuck a # in front of that and now I'm getting the new music. Which, I must say, is awesome.

I like the idea... with an option to show equiped weapon (in a cool way).

*sigh* probably will never happen

But yes, the new login screen is nice... gives a bit of an oldskool-feeling (i think many players enjoyed the shiverpeaks)

I'm thrilled to see the new login screen, but i'd go back to the Factions one in a heartbeat. (Best thing about Factions. lol)

I wish we could load up the original one again though

They cant add the first two intros because of Graphical improvements and the fact they had a limited number of slots.

Finally? yes indeed.. been waiting for this day for a long time. That whole Nightfall theme has always bugged me since it came out.

The new login screen will probably be my new ''afk spot'' lol, because It's so pretty, By far the best one! good job Anet.

That music is so...Noble and heroic - I could just watch my toons stand there all day and dream of their conquests, HUZZAH!....e-hem...i mean...its good

It looks nice, tho I never pay much attention to the login screen.

It is a nice thing from ANet to change login screen to most recent expansion.
Even if you don't got it then, you at least know what kind of atmosphere it has

If you mean fritst 2 log in screens then your wrong.Those can be updated and enhanced to todays standarts while retaining the magic of the old days.I'd pay for the option to change my log in screens as i want.But i guess Anet dosent care or lazy.
