Because I'm pretty sure you get assigned new skills (kinda like the wurms, snowball or dragon arena). You aren't actually using your skills in the arena (its a mini game).
Look at his skill bar, all existing skills.

I don't see how there's much of a difference to killing AI solo or killing AI in a party. I guess you didn't like the Nightfall mission Tihark Orchard either, because you were solo?

Yes the guy did seem confused. But he actually described Orr first....okay he was wrong on the continent part but he did describe Orr.......and as pointed out i doubt Orr would look like that after being risen from the sea. So he may of mistaken the Tarnished Coast with Orr.
But if you look on the Tyria map there is a small explorable area west of Witmans Folly and below the broken Orr islands. This could have something to do with Orr.
And i would of guessed the Dwarves to be a playable race anyway. Tengu will be up next imo.
