Just checked this out on i4U.
While I'm certain they would'nt develop a full version of GW for the PSP, they could possibly make a "dumbed down" version with cross over content.
Funny...Just the other day I told my friend that if the iPhone ran Guild Wars, it would push me over the edge and I would just HAVE to buy one...Now the same goes for the PSP..
Guild Wars on PSP in the future?

The did something similar with Dungeon Siege.
Sigh. GW will never appear on a console, since the ArenaNet developers have has no experience with console gaming (to put it simply)
The deal was for PS3-exclusive MMOs, with emphasis on "exclusive." I have no clue how you interpreted that it was PSP only out of that press release...
That's baseless doom and gloom based on uninformed and faulty evidence! That should be permission to flame you incessantly!

"Together with the Internet-enabled PSP, we're confident that SCEI and NCsoft can develop unique and compelling online experiences that will be found on no other platform.”
Again, I emphasize "may". Guild Wars is a popular title and companies are always looking to expand their franchises into any viable medium.
I also stress, again, that personally, I highy doubt that a full PvP capable version on GW would be produced. PvE adaptations of PvP titles have been done on handhelds in the past. (admittedly, sometimes with little success).
Doom and gloom, you say? That is a matter of opinion. Poor evidence, you say? It would appear to me that there's at least enough proof to allow for conjecture.

People don't start working at the companies they 'currently' work at straight out of the womb you know. Yes, yes! I can confirm it! Games are made by people... More than one to!

The actual quote from Jack Tretton is on Joystiq.com at the 12:18PST mark.

| "Let's start with our partners games first. We're providing them with the tools they need to develop great games for the PS3. We're very pleased to announce that NCSoft will be joining the PlayStation camp. You probably know them from Lineage, City of Heroes, and Guild Wars. Very soon, they'll be brining that to the PS3 exclusively. Only the PSN can support the types of games NCSoft has become famous for." |

It all appears to be just semantics, exclusive... platforms.. ect. But it clearly says that NCsoft will create online games for PSP.

Don't worry I'm sure there will be an Online Gaming PSP forum you can post your "Sky is falling" threads
And so how is WoW? Can't be too exciting since your still posting and haunting a GW site; The very game you have admited to leaving... While constantly highlighting its death-coughs.
Edit: General And the PSP's can be used as a controller with PS3, so who knows what they can dream up.

Personally I'm in favor of GW on the PS3, if it ever happens. It would certainly be a boon for Anet. The only downside I can think of being a possible Eternal September, but it's not like the GW community isn't already at that level anyway. Maybe a crappy client conversion too (I believe FFXI suffers from this?)
