GW:EN countdown banner

Here's a little something I made - not really "artwork" though:

http://andreas-lenz.de/countdown.jpg

The text on the image is added by a script to always show the exact time until August 31, 2007, the release date of GW:EN. The background are random GW screenshots (mostly from the GW:EN preview screenshots; I know, most of them aren't cropped too well). If anyone has a decent screenshot of Gwen that can be fittet into this format, send it this way, please! The little brat is way too chipper for me. Doesn't hold still long enough.

Feel free to use this banner at your discretion, e.g. as forum signature. For maximum effect, you will of course have to hotlink it from my webspace, because obviously the script will not work on an image you save elsewhere.

That's sweet, why didn't I think of it? :P XD

It's good, especially useful for me, i have'nt been keeping up and i didn't even know the release date 0.o did anyone do this for Factions or Nightfall? probably

Awesome, a countdown to my birthday lol

very clever, nice =]

Thanks all!

But that one I didn't promote here. I would be suprised if I was the only one with that idea, though.

O_o cool, does it change backgrounds every so often?

The background is selected at random from about a dozen or so different images. That's what I need a screenshot of Gwen for: I'd like to put her into the mix.

Is your clock off? Looks to be 2 hrs fast (resolves at 10pm PST Aug 30).

Nice banner tho.

Hmm, you're right. For some reason I set the script to UTC rather than local time. Fixed now.

Thanks
