Account Banned for No Reason

I've just logged in my account and it says "code=045", i've been banned for using a third party program which i have never used. I've never cheated, never. Please someone from support explain me what's going on. My nephew uses another account on my computer, maybe that's what caused everything, but i can't understand. I did a lot of FFF on the event, maybe that's it, i don't know.
I've spent a lot of time and money on a game that i love, and now i feel betrayed.

Remember when the same thing happened during the Boardwalk AFK-a-thon? I think ArenaNet has some very, very falty bot checking software...

Just keep sending ticket after ticket to ANet. If you pursue them enough and you cease to pester them, you'll get it back.

But I too am a little confused as to why you're banned. Maybe your nephew used a botting program, but if it was with his account then I don't know how you could be held responsible.

And ANet does need to piss off with more banning patrol when it comes to weekend events, although I'm still bewildered with how he got banned.

OH? ask yourself if you went AFK in Aspenwood or Alliance Battles? If you did you deserve to be banned for exhibiting bot like behavior.

FFF = Melandru's Hope run or Duel of the Houses run.

I did "Jade Arena" quest a lot, but never used a bot. I stayed all night killing those criminals. My nephew is 11 years old, and i always stay close to him, for tips and stuff.

He's a lvl 7 w/mo, in presearing.

Like was posted earlier, just contact support, be polite, ask them to revisit your banning because you are certain that no bot was used on your computer, etc etc etc. Above all BE POLITE, you'll most likely get a favorable result.

Zinger you would be amazed at how many people think that FFF means AB runs. This was not a flame but an observation. You of all people should know the difference between sarcasm and observations. Read your own posts sometimes you might learn the difference.

Just from personal experience when recently seeking a new guild I had asked no less than 9 Luxon guilds if there was a Fast Faction Farming area similar to Lutguards? Then told "yes" by those guilds, only to discover they were refering to Alliance battles as FFF.

Furthermore I do know of at least one person who was banned recently because he was running a Faction Farming Bot out of Aspenwood. I feel no pity for him or people like him.

To be fair, why do they deserve a polite response for banning your account for absolutely no good reason?

Well, you don't care about my situation, i undestand, but coming here and saying all those thing about people you don't know, that's offensive. Go play GW, that's what i would do.

I think the problem maybe with ur nephew, If he was running a bot they may have banned your IP address. Botter usually have multiple account running from a single IP and it can be a quick way to get a bunch of bots off. If you truely did nothing wrong I hope you get ur account back. Sorry bout ur luck

just fyi, isnt 'bot like activity' a reason? so semantically banned for no reason is inacurate, should be banned improperly or something ;P
