Possible UW Farm build?

I haven't been able to test this, but I think it may work, depending on how good you are at a UW soloer. This build utilizes the elite 'Gladiator's Defence' to deal damage and give defense to yourself by increasing the chance to block, covered up by armor bonuses ( when recharging ). Let's move on, anyhow.

Skills:
Gladiator's Defense
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Ancestor's Visage
Sympathetic Visage
Dolyak Signet
Healing Signet
Enraging Charge

Atrributes:

Running (not needed much):
Strength: 8 + 1 + 3
Swordsmanship: 9 + 1
Tactics: 10 + 1

Fighting:
Strength: 8 + 2
Swordsmanship: 9 + 1
Tactics: 10 + 1 + 3

Equipment:
(Strength) Knight's Helm Of Superior Strength - use this when running to the smites.
(Tactics) Knight's Helm Of Superior Tactics - use this when fighting.
Radiant Cuirass Of Minor Swordsmanship - keep on at all times.
Knight's Gauntlets Of Major Strength - Keep on at all times.
Radiant Leggings Of Minor Tactics - Keep on at all times.
Knight's Boots Of Vigor (best u can afford) - keep on at all times.

i can't see it working a si used the W/Mes build with dorlaks and Physical and i took 1-3 dam on attacks. but when i eaither ran out of energy/forgot about PR i took 6-8dam witch is to much to take on a big group for any time with out a heal witch doesnt reduce armor. to i havent tested it i dont belive it woudl work, but thats my 2 cents

Yes it does work. Hard Mode no. But on regular yes. I don't have access to either of the GW expansions, and therefor ancestor's visage, but i have been doing it forever with SV alone. Before the recent armor stacking nerfs, my bar consisted of:

Glads. Defense
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Sympathetic Visage
Watch Yourself
Doylak Sig.
Heal Sig.
Sprint

16 tactics, about 8 illusion, rest in strength

After the armor nerf. I have dropped watch yourself in favor of distracting blow (for the smite's SOJ). When fighting smites, use a zealous sword with +5 defense. The reason I bring distracting blow now is that attacking is critical when fighting smites, as it give you the energy you need to cast SV, deadly rip, and glads in sequence. If you distract one SOJ, there will be one smite in the mob who is not enchanted. Cycle thru the smites with doylak up until you find it. Attacking is even more important, in that it allows your Rip., deadly Rip, and Glads Defense to damage them, with your weak sword hits nullifying the smites' Reversal of Fortune.

When approaching a group of smites, throw up Doylak then SV. You should be attacking through the duration of SV. As soon as it ends, Riposte, Deadly Rip., Glads Defense. Heal during this time. Repeat these patterns of casting and stances/skills and it should be no problem. Hope this helps

Gladiator takes a century to kill smites T_T.

my smite runs average about 30-35 mins. with proph. only skills, and on my warrior... I can deal with that

Glad's definately won't work against grasping unless you Ancestor's visage, and long recharge of Glad's aint so good. Build is not one bit useful for UW farming. VwK is wear is at now. W/Rt VwK build, or similar build I made for Rt/W and posted. check it out, faster then VwK build, and just as safe.

I have made up a W/R build using Glad's and Protectors Defense stacked together so you won't get hit once for the duration of Glad's. I also use Quickening Zephyr and Serpent's Quickeness to get 33% recharge on Glads and Protectors. Does 37 dmg for 11 seconds, and two usages can kill warriors enemies pretty good in NM or HM. the build however won't work for UW smites, works well on graspings, but not smites.

How would I farm aatxes then?

Maybe if you don't want dmg it should be cool take a second bonder (hero) with you. A warrior can easily tank the aaxte, Smites, Everything and don't need to worry a lot(Except those dying nightmares but they won't do a lot dmg).
