What made you name your charater?

My names are all from a science fiction role playing game I ran a number of years ago. Enjoyed the characters and it was the last pencil and paper RPG I ran so had a host of names at the ready when Guild Wars came out. Even if they didnt quite fit the genre, they were all names of my own making and had some sentimentality and was all that mattered to me at the time. I tried to match the character looks to the Guild Wars character models when possible.
I have recreated characters a few times in the levels 1-5 range because I thought a new name was more fitting for the class, but I never did beyond around that level. Just didnt want to do the work again, even though its not all that much until after your level 20. If anything, I now wish for a cosmetics salon to tweak character looks a bit given new options out there that were not available when certain characters were created. That or just to change hairstyle when bored lol.

The first ones I associated with family members.

I came up with DiDie and then Lady DiDie. Then my other characters all became a version of DiDie, with the exception of my Dervish who became DiDoe. I got to level 10 before I noticed my typo, and didn't want to reroll. I keep DiDie in all of my characters names because I noticed other people doing it so they would know who it was when they were online playing with multiple chars.
