First of all, I am deeply ashamed of posting this, but I had to. I feel like a whining little @(#*@! but I just have to.
The update has been here for only a few hours, but I'm highly annoyed by the Clear Target button that you see when targeting someone.
Why?
It looks like a Deep Wound too much.
Yes, that is all. But as a Monk, this is quite annoying.
My suggestion:
Put it on the left side of the targetbar
or
Add an option to toggle it off in the options menu
Ps. Did I say I feel ashamed of posting this yet?

I agree, When you just give it a quick glance it's quite easy to mistake for deepwound, making it partially transparent to match the background better would work aswell.
The other target "enhancements" need toggles aswell. The "Offensive skills and attacks will now identify a valid target on screen if you have no target selected." Is absolutely annoying as hell when you click a skill just before you've target something. Nothing like running away from the guy you meant to attack.

I agree that I have mistaken it for deep wound a couple of times.
Really, I think this was kinda worthless feature. I mean, it is novel, but was anybody really demanding this or anything? Its just such a waste of programing time.
I also don't like the computer auto targetting something for me when I kill somebody. Its rather annoying and I'd like a way to remove/disable it.
Frankly, I'm pretty disappointed overall with a lot of stuff in this update (I'm usually the positive guy telling Zinger to relax). But just a bunch of stuff lately is geared towards grind and a lot of the updates and skill balances seem to be pushing the gameplay towards some snowball arena.

Wether it looks like a Deep Wound or not, I still think it's kinda useless...
The reasons you would want to disselect ur target may be:
Following a Called Target (in this case u press "t")
Attacking a diferent target (in this case u press tab)
Targeting nearest NPC (in this case u press "v")
Target urself (in this case u press "f")
Target nearest item (in this case u press "ç")
So... Ehm.. Err.. Why does it exist for??

With it you can play with one hand in the mouse, and the other became free.
But yup, its appearance is quite annoying.
Why not just use the 'close' button in all the windows? Why to have that dark grey one in the right upper corner?
