Yay! I thought I'd never finish that one. I tried a different method this time. I was sitting here and dug out an old sketchbook and decided to sketch the mesmer first and then scan it in for the rest...the sketch took less than an hour.

The finished picture is posted in the first entry. I made him broader, moved the arm up so that I could crop him to a decent size and still show the staff head. If I'd tried to keep more of the legs in the picture, he'd be so small that alot of the detail would fade out. Little awkward on the lighting, but I really wanted him to show up despite the darkness of the picture.

But hey, I think it turned out pretty cool. I kinda fell in love with this one.

Okay, I just finished the picture for Rainbird. We had a crazy weekend! If you've never heard of VNV Nation, I highly recommend them. Awesome music, awesome show! Now it's back to business as usual.

Yay! New one up now for tommarrow. I'm trying out a different computer and program (on loan--maybe--for work, so I'm getting a feel for it with character art).

Starr, I just realized I never said which character I wanted you to do (in the original thread). I know you said you were going to participate in my contest (which is cool!) but I'd still also like to keep my original commission request and have you do my mesmer Fiona with her black moa Spike if that's possible. Preferably in her Ascalon armor here or her sunspear armor here. The Ascalon is my favorite but the sunspear is a close second. She's wearing 15k Kurzick boots.

This one was lots of fun during my insomnia streak. Pandora.com and Arizona tea, my faithful companions through it all.

This one in it's full size came out 6.85MB for an idea of what the 50k will be. They take me longer, but come out pretty cool.

With the new skinning craze beginning, if you would like to have your own custom armor drawn in a character commission, please take as detailed screenshots as you can of the modded armor, and when possible the skin image to allow me to see the actual details and colors used. That would be very helpful.

I've already started playing with the textures on a few things.

Here is "Fiona" for Garreth MacLeod. I'm so sorry this took me so long. I had a root canal on monday, modding madness on tuesday and today was Independence Day so my fiance didn't have to go to work. But as soon as he said goodnight, I was back on it.

Very sweet!!~ I might wanna art trade with you (if you want) sometime after you finish the current list (very very broke in-game atm and lazy to farm XD) so let me know when or if you are ready to do it! ^.^

Starr, that is so adorable. I love how it looks with Spike curling himself around Fiona ("The Watchful Protector" lol)

Is that a 20K or 50K one? I don't think I said which I want but will gladly pay 50k if that's what it is. Also, do you email me one without the watermark after I pay (no problem, just clarifying how it works).

That was the 20k style. And I always make sure I upload the unwatermarked versions of the pictures to a private link before I even announce they are ready so that if anything happens (machine gets stupid and won't upload) I can give you the address in-game or pm so that you don't have to worry about waiting longer once you've paid.

Only 20k for that? Wow! I can't imagine what the 50k one would have been like what with the detail I see on this one.

Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't have said that because then you might up your prices and future customers will be mad at me for that. 20k? that's outrageous...not worth it. no way. (you do know I'm kidding, correct?)

If you check here often, you may notice my status message has changed. I'm still accepting requests and will add new requests to the list, but it comes with a disclaimer at the moment. I got up this morning and realized that alot of these people requested work when I was able to get something done every other day. Recently, with outside projects, I haven't been getting as much accomplished as I would like to. I'm not going to stop doing them, but right now any new names on the list could take up to a month.

If you really want one and can wait that long (or if you're low on funds right now, but want to get on the list so you have that long to pay), please feel free to make your request.

Could you let me know the resolution, generally, of your Full Res? I'd like to know if it's worth the extra 30k to go that high. Once you respond, I'll get back to you on which I'd like ;D
