Not sure if I've been diligent enough in find an existing thread on this topic, but here's my suggestion anyway...
I'm sure most of us are familiar with the Divinity Coast mission in Tyria and how the Eye of Janthir hovers over your party the whole mission. As useful as the Eye is in dishing out pain to the enemy, it's even better dishing out pain to your party. The lightning "streams" that connect EVERY party member to the Eye is incredibly painful on the eyes. Additionally, they are constantly flashing, connecting things all over your interface, and interferes with the more enjoyable scenery and action during the mission. I've done this mission many times and this has been a discussion in each party I've been in. Countless builds and two chapters later, the all seeing eye still holds dominion over us all...
So the suggestion would be to remove the lightning effects and just have the Eye follow you or whatever is suitable to make it easier for everyone's eyes.

I really liked the lightning effects. They made the mission more exciting. Also, I have never heard this complaint before and have done the mission plenty of times with many different groups.
Try turning down the brightness/contrast of your monitor.
You know, this is something I have thought about everytime I go through that mission; I find it annoying. But really, it's part of the ambiance of the mission, and I find it best to just zoom out so it's not as bright and seziure inducing as it is in normal view. At least for what my normal view is.
I wouldn't think that's a graphics issue though, more of a personal preference issue...

Thanks for the replies. I've previously attempted the changes that each of you have suggested, contrast, adjusting graphics card settings, zooming out (not the sunglasses). So it probably is, as Operative 14 mentioned, personal preference and just random probability that I've come across people with a similar complaint in my parties. If only my drops had the same probabilities...

As it is not required for everyone in the party to have the cleansed status, you can avoid the cursed eye blinding you with lightnings by not taking a dive at the fountain. The eye would only hang around those who were cleansed (and also only connecting them with lightnings), so you would be relatively free to admire the scenery without the eye staring at your scalp. Filthy, but free.
