[Insert witty build name here] for A/any

Okay... I had that other post, "Possible Assasin Build" and here is a new build that I spent my morning making.

Wear radiant armor all around and put runes of attunement on every peice except for the head piece, resulting in a grand total of 41 energy. Also get Zealous Daggers. (Very Important)

Critical Strikes 12+1+1
Dagger Mastery 12
Shadow Arts 4

Critical eye - 5*
Critical Defenses - 10
Expose Defences - 10
Death's Charge - 5
Golden Lotus Strike - 5 (Energy +12 on hit)
Wild Strike - 5
Critical Strike - 5
Moebisu Strike - 5

*Energy Cost

Start out by picking a target and then cast Critical Eye (For Energy and more critical hits) and Critical Defenses (To make yourself difficult to hit) Then use Expose Defences if the person has any blocking abilty that you know of, then Death's Charge to get in close. (Started with 41 energy, -5, -10, -10, -5 = 11 energy left.)
Start the combo with Golden Lotus Strike, leaving you with 6 energy but giving you +12. You end up with 18 energy total, giving you required energy to do Wild Strike, Critical Strike and Moebius Strike. (Those three take 15 energy total, leaving you with three energy.
This whole time energy regeneration and zealous daggers will have given you enough energy to use Golden Lotus again, seeing as it has been recharged due to Moebius, which gives you +12 energy and time to start the combo all over again till your target is DEAD.
This whole time your critical strikes should be fairly frequent, due to 14 critical strikes and Critical Eye, keeping Critical Defences charge and good to go.

This build is intended for AB where PLENTY of people have nasty blocking moves. (Including this build. :P )

I have not tested this build yet, I'm just looking for suggestions to make it better BEFORE I spend cash on skills.

ANALIZED WEAKNESSES: Conditions and Casters. No way to take conditions off ones self and no way to stop spells. Mobs. Inspiration Mesmers. Touchers. (Due to conditions, but most touchers rely on blocking to stay alive which they will not benifit from on this build.)


I need CONSTRUCTIVE critisism. Don't just tell me that my build doesn't work if you don't have a solution ready.

Black Lotus Strike instead of Golden Lotus Strike would be better, and you'd only need 13 of it.
Drop Wild Strike for Death Blossom.

No, you need the energy from Golden Lotus in the very start to give you the energy to complete the combo. Death Blossom does AoE damage, which I'm only looking to kill one person, not multiple. I am an assassin, not a nuker.

Moebius + Death Blossom is awsome dmg as it can be spammed =]

Using Black Lotus Strike on a hexed foe gives you the energy you need, so Yanman.be is correct in dropping Golden Lotus Strike for BLS.

You don't need Wild Strike if you have BLS. Also, Death Blossom does more damage than Wild Strike to main target.

Just as an FYI, you mis-judged your energy. Using Critical Strike with Critical Eye enabled will cost you 5 energy, but gain you 8 (3+1). So you're going to have a lot more energy than you bargained for; maybe consider throwing a non-attunement rune in there.

Take it the Isles and see how your energy works out. I think you might be surprised, especially once you get to Critical Strike. And if you use BLS, your energy situation will be even better.

I'm assuming this is a pressure/support attacker though. I don't think that combo has enough going for it to kill someone on its own.

i dont see why you would need all that radient armor and stuff, looks low energy if anything O_o.

i agree with yanman...
if u replace golden strike with black lotus strike(its offhand requires hex ei. ur expose defence)
then u use db instead of wild strike
followed my moebus and critical, moebus and so on... this way using same ammount of skills u have more dual attacks which is much more dmg and u kill ur target faster

Listen, Black Lotus Strike gives you more energy netted. You don't need lead-offhand,saving a spot, and having a hex req in your build is better, because crit defenses is 30rc, expose 10.

Okay, so if I replaced WS for BLS, what do you think I should replace GLS with? Also I was afraid I wouldn't have the energy to GET to BLS after I use all my power ups and a lead attack....

You only need about 35 energy to start this combo (Probably even less, since you regen some). CE and CD before battle, then use ED, DC to the opponent, Hit with BLS (gives you energy, but the target must be hexed) and continue with a spam of Death Blossom and Moebisu Strike in tandem. If you have low energy, fire Critical Strike.

Now go and replace all those Runes and Insignias for something useful :P

No, actually, if I remember correctly, BLS does not require a lead attack....

But yeah, use BLS rather than Golden. Instead of Death's Charge you could try Dark Prison maybe? o.O Cept that it costs 5 more, it has the same recharge, is a hex, shadow step, and snare.

you could do it in this order: ED (10) + DP (10) + BLS (10) + CE + everything else. You use 30 energy right off the bat, but BLS will you give you a giant boost.

I only put in CD when I see someone attacking me, so I don't normally put it on before going in. But I think even so, you're choosing mostly softies so don't put on CD unless you know you'll be attacked. And usually the melee (except sins) don't run away. Though it's funny to have a war run away :3
