Luring Varesh

Can anyone plz explain to me how to pull the 2nd instance of varesh *without* aggroing the other monsters and without her running away? I have seen other people do this but I can't seem to do it myself. ><

You can also stay in the middle, worked for me and none of the other monsters attacked me.

I'm looking to do this on hard mode ... not sure if standing in the middle will work for that or not. Did you do that on NM or HM ?

I've done it in NM and in HM with luring varesh to your begin point..

But you can only lure the second varesh if you have a meelee guy in your party.. Varesh herself throws spears so she isn't standing next to you.. If you are a meelee you have to walk all the way next to varesh aggroing the patrols.. If you let your monk lure and tank varesh and finish her off with ranged attacks it's easy..

hmmm what i allways do, is lure him from the left side. just stay from a distance varesh will come, when he comes dont move back fast or he will go back, when he is out of agro from rest let the rest attack, 1 warrior who bodyblocks him from back will keep him there.

Having a nightmare of a time getting Masters on this with my Hero/Hench group. Any suggestions on the layout of a "good" team for it?

Me and a friend did it last night with 4 heroes and 2 Hench monks. We had:

R/Mo
N/E - Spiteful Spirit (I think) + Others
N/Me - Spoil Victor + Others
P/W - Incoming! Shields Up! Watch Yourself!
W/E - Crip Slash + Shock + Watch Yourself!
Mo/E - Shield of Deflection
Mhenlo
Kihm (or whatever the 2 hench are)

We did it in 5:20 (Hard Mode Masters), by just standing in the middle and killed Varesh with Hexes. I was the warrior, so to avoid aggro, I just attacked Varesh with a Longbow ONLY to charge Watch Yourself! to reduce damage from Varesh and when we aggro'd a group of a Spear and Arm (Paragon and Ranger), their damage was reduced as well. So it was pretty easy, as Varesh just killed herself, and we stood in the middle taking damage from 2 monsters and Varesh.

pulled the monsters than varesh in HM , but only had expert , it was too long .. :/

Rit with Earthbind and Wanderlust
Mes with Psychic Instability and Interrupts
Ranger with BHA/Choking Gas and Concussion Shot, Distracting Shot and Savage Shot

Basically, if she stands still she gets knocked down, if she gets interrupted, she gets knocked down, and when she gets KD'd, she's down for extra time.

And an Earth ele with Sandstorm, and watch her life just slip away.
