the point of this thread is MINI PET CONTEST....Anet has stated we will have a chance to get rare minis soon, which may be a contest like this giving away the rare minis,

I do not want a free mini, i could wipe my ass daily on them if i wanted.

Well ummm there is always events going on some community based others promoted by Anet.

There is an entire 'freebie' section here on the forums if thats what you're after... and as far as contests go - GWG has them all the time. Heck, I recently won an 19" flat panel monitor. How's that for a community contest?

thelegendozelda, you shouldn't really criticize, the point of your thread was very unclear before your edit. A fansite ran a contest and someone won a free mini pet. Simply stating that you wish ArenaNet to do the same and have a Mini pet contest would have been more clear.

Even after the edit, im still a little lost, Too scattered, what is it you want to Anet to achieve? American only minipet events? Are you mad an italian guy won? I think a minipet contest is the last thing on their mind, especially considering SR+HM to say the least.

uuhm well unless i misread i think he just wants a-net to have american only minipet giveaways kinda like the japanese uber rare zomg 100k+700 ecto mini's. which would be great and all but i severely doubt its gonna be a top priority....prolly not even a top 10 priority behind gw1 bugs gw:en hard mode the soul reaping shpeel weekend events gw2 etc etc etc

I think it's nice that most people missed his point. It means they aren't thinking that negatively, themselves.

Australia should really have its own region. Its so damn hard to form a mission/quest group because of big time zone differences bwteen us and the US. I sometimes wish I lived in the US instead

It would suck if that was the new rare minis Anet suggested.
But I also think it was community run thing, not really Anets doing
