Rollback?

Has the game just been reverted? I spent 2 hours on the ticket games only to find I am back to where I started.

Same thing here. I tried to log a support ticket but it's so full of crap I eventually gave up.

Rollback confirmed.
It has been rolled back 8 hours almost, lost a whole night of /AFK boardwalk games.

Now that really sux. I hope Anet will explain why they had to take those drastic measures.

I had the same happen. Lost approximately time spent winning 5000 tickets. This is nonsense.

I'm confused. Unless i'm misunderstanding when the rollback took place it doesn't seem to have affected me. I seem to have kept the tickets i won today.

Edit, ok now i see it, I seem to have gotten lucky and only lost some cupcakes and victory tokens since i was roller beetle racing when it must have happened. It wasn't rolled back 8 hours tho or i would have no tokens.

Greendc27, which servers are you on, US or Europe? I'm on the European servers myself.

There is a thread in riverside about the same thing. Seems to be a euro server issue. Im on american server and no problems for me over the last 8 hours at all.

I'm on US servers. There does seem to be a very short rollback for me because i lost a few tokens and cupcakes. It must have been pretty short tho since i only raced for about 15 minutes

I've been disconnected twice this morning so far, on EU.
Don't know exactly when the first dc happened as I was afk, but when I got back i had to choose a char again.

Second time was more noticeable as I was actually there and boom, back at char selection screen and with less lucky / unlucky to boot.

Wonder if they had a problem and they had to rollback a few hours... Game economy problem perhaps?

I know they had a problem with cupcakes dropping which they fixed and extended a bit to compensate, maybe they will do the same....

Rollback, LOL. Do any of you have the slightest clue what that entails?

Lets analyze, there was an exploit of sweets in the arena ... global crash caused ppl to lose hours of progress ingame, sounds like a rollback to me so go "LOL" somewhere else.

Well, I just got back from work and saw one of my rare errors in my whole guildwars time. Normaly I have no error but now I was logged out and when I logged in I still had the same amount of lucky points as this morning (6am GMT+1)

This just might be what happened, since Gaile's not sure also.

I was on for about 4 hours on the American servers (2 hours AFK in the Remains of Sahlahja) without any rollback and then I went to the international district of Kamadan a couple of minutes before midnight PST, where Gaile happened to show up as well. And I stayed in there for another couple of hours without any problem.

Looking at the time of the OP, I should have been on when the "rollback" happened, unless it happened before 8pm PST

I fully do understand the implications and stand by my former post, there was a rollback for a timespan of app. 8 hours ..

Euro too BTW.

Exactly so! I understand that there was a major exploit, dunno what exactly, and Anet decided to rollback. Some affected for an hours worth of gaming others 8 hours.

Rollback - LOL = easy to do, dont YOU always keep a backup program running which you can go back to after a major crash?? Anet do!
