Its a nice addition, even though the amount you get is really a bit insignificant compared to how much you nee to max the titles/gain a level.

It gives me a reason to actually buy lockpicks now, and a way for me to work on my Lucky/Unlucky titles without getting booted off my internet for being idle so long.

Why dun unlucky increase the rate of LP been broken. That way, people will think twice doing afk-farm. Lol (Meant to be a joke)

Anyway, good updates by anet. Finally, a way to earn luck titles without the help of festival.

So, that is about 60,000 gold to get 1,000 unlucky points excluding you getting a lockpick drop.

And lucky is free, because you get to keep the pick for another go!

About time they make the picks worth something with their 1.5k investment.... if you even keep them ~_~

argh....a day too late....I finally got to keep one of my lockpicks YESTERDAY so today they count for my title.....yep, my tim ing is wa y of f tod ay.....

oh well, they will count from now on, so when they drop for me they will help my titles!

cute, 250 points every few chests will hardly be noticable, but at least I can keep working on my 400k pts to golden while punishing myself with pve.

Awsome update! I was buying lockpicks like crazy and getting mostly golds.. I have 31% of retaining and I think +% to retain for people who were working hard for their titles is good reward, I don't understand why people without those titles complain how they don't have big enough chance to save their lockpick...

Lol. 250 for each LP not broken. How long will it take for me to get golden. It is much faster to use the 9 rings but no loots from it.
Yea, i agree that 250 is barely noticeable , but at least it helps in the title chase. Although getting unlucky title is much easier with LP now.

Not to mention that Lucky/Unlucky titles are account based. That's a big thing, so I think 250 is just fine

Thats because people without the lucky or treasure hunter titles have only a 10% chance of keeping the lockpick which isnt exactly cheap to buy. But anyways i think the update was a great little add in that will help people % increase even if it is very gradual (like most titles are, unless u go crazy with them).

I could go out and buy a 2930 lockpicks, then i would get my 2nd tier of unlucky, lol, I actually have the money to do that, and just that, it would wipe me out, but hell it would be more fun that doing afk rings!
