Heroes/Hench don't get 50% xp bonus in HM

I just noticed this after I got wiped from a bad pull. After killing a bunch of monsters my DP was at 1%, fort whatever reason I checked my heroes DP - theirs was at 6%, all of them.

I get that HM is tougher with hero/hench, in some places anyway. But for them not to get the same xp per kill that I do is annoying. This needs to be fixed.

Can't always find a group that wants to vanquish an area, so it is hero/hench or don't do. So far this is my only gripe with HM - hero/hench AI and not getting appropriate xp.

This matches my observations as well. I would also like to see them get the same experience bonus I get for the purpose of working off their DP.

Are you using the Bounties? Perhaps the extra Xp from the bounties only affects you and not hero/hench.

Yea it'd be nice if they got it since even tho they are lvl 20 working off DP faster would be nice

I do get bounties when in NF, none in the other 2 chapters. And unless I'm mistaken, bounties in HM do not give extra xp - just points for sunspear or LB.

However in HM, it says 50% more xp.



to be exact : Your Party gains + 50% XP from combat while in hard mode - last I checked heroes are part of your party.

For some reason the heroes have been way dumbed down in HM. Is it a glitch or more garbage for players to contend with?

Bounties give double XP for the monster in that type of bounty I believe.

That's interesting, when I was trying to clear out Old Ascalon with my heroes, I died multiple times (heh) and every time I noticed the exact opposite of what's happening to you. They recovered from DP much more quickly than me and I assumed that was from the fact that heroes gain XP much more faster than players do.

It was probably from the bounties you had, if you were in Elona.

Bounties and HM should give 100% bonus for xp i think correctly.As for heros.... and hench,in HM they should be allowed to work off DP 2 times faster then player cause player has event itemes to lower DP that cannot help heros.Irish thingy dosent count.

DP removal items do affect Heroes' DP. Try it and you will see.

The bounties in hard mode don't add xp.

Only Rainbow CCs and 4 Leaf Clovers though, the party-wide ones.
Methinks rainbow ccs will be much more expensive come this wintersday.

I use Wintergreen CCs and they always work for my heroes too.

How bout we don't have to use CC's and stuff, and Anet can fix this so our heroes get double XP also. :P

You need to share the love on how you pull that off then. I've never had a wintergreen remove any heroes DP and would love to see it.

I'm quite confident you need party wide effects to remove hero DP.

Good..the union doesn't want heroes taking the jobs of actual people.
We have filed some grievances and are happy to see something is being done about these scab workers you call heroes.

Whats the point of DP anyway? it takes away fun and just makes you weaker... no point to go on,why bother.
