No, loot drops correlate to the number of people in your party. When you have a party of 8 the loot drops stay the same, for every person less the visible loot drops decrease a little.

Though whether or not dead party members are a way to circumvent this is interesting... I shall investigate.

Idk if I like this "loot scales to party size" thing... if you can do a solo build you should still be rewarded with being able to pull it off. GW is all about letting you play how you want... but it looks like now you get the same loot no matter what so there is no point in soloing anything.

Oh sweet, finnaly grouping with players and henchman instead of going for 1, 2, or the fewest man possible team which obviously leave some professions out of the possibilities, might become viable economically speaking.

With the loot scaling, couldn't you just take a full team of heros/henchies and flag them away from you?

yeah the loot scales to party size is very vague and can be interpreted a few ways, I'd like a precise description of how it works, as this has a huge effect on farming and what people like to do while playing (read: please don't unfun this game)

Yeah, that is what I said. But indeed, the description is said is very vague, and I am not 100% sure what it is supposed to mean.

I would guess that the # of drops (pretend it is 1 per team member) would equal the # of people in the group. So if you are with 7 others there are 8 drops and you get one, if you are by yourself you get one drop so either way drops are same. Not sure if they have a way to make it so you can't just flag hench out of range and then get 8 drops or not..I hope not, I wasnt here before all the solo nerfing so I never got in on it when it was good.

My thinking is that it will simply be that you will always get a drop (when something drops) which would be nice. Henchies not stealing drops FTW!!!! lol

Getting Masters on Chahbek Village is still extremely easy in hard mode. Hope it gets harder.

From all those notes about the Realm of Torment, I hope they finally moved those Shadow mobs out from right in front of the portal in Domain of Pain...

Can someone please give me an example of a skill bar?
Do they have secondary's?
Are the groups balanced?
Do they kite properly?

Can't play at the moment so if anyone could answer these questions i would be very thankful

Sounds very fun though, thanks Anet!

The best way to describe it is this:

The game will now currently always treat your party as if it is max size. If you enter an 8 man zone with two people, then the remaining 6 slots in your party will be taken up by 'invisible henchmen'. These invisible henchmen will take their share of any loot drops, in the same way that normal henchmen do - so you just wont see the drops ever happen.
