Stone striker combined with Nightfall's endgame shield w/ +10vs Earth damage? Or is it not worth it? That shield piqued my interest when I spotted it with my Elementalist Geomancer.

Hm. It's actually an interesting thought.

The way PvE is built right now makes it open to many builds. So, this might actually be something to consider.

but you get +10 from your shield!

It's reasonably terrible on your ele aside from a few solo farming builds, It's even worse on your warrior.

Turbobusa has a point. if you use it, which im not trying to say is a useless idea, you get less armor against physical damage. Pretty significant. However, if all/most of the damage you are getting in an area is elemental, for example, it would be a great idea to use this tactic

-also, with this being such an obvious thing, i can't believe i hadn't thought of this before. Doh. everyone else probably has. gj for being one of the billions of better thinkers than I am lol

You could also wear Dreadnought armor for the added elemental bonus, but I don't think you'd be any better off then not using Stone Striker.

Therefore, you net -10 armor against physical and +10 vs elemental.
