PvP weapons for PvE players

Hey guys,

i have noticed a little problem with PvE players in PvP.

I wanted to try out a completely different build today, but i noticed that you cannot create PvP weapons as a PvE player.

I cannot start a new PvP char as my char slots are full, so i dont see another way out then to ask for a change.

I think PvE players should be able to create PvP weapons. Maybe just make it so that you cannot make them if you are under lvl20 so that its not imbalanced.

Ok people seem not to understand that the PvP weapons would only be available when in PvP...

Possibly you don't realize the difference between PvE and PvP. In PvE you do nothing besides slaving away to get great gear. In PvP you're given all the gear you just have to play your heart out. Tell me, what would be the point of PvE if you were given gear? Also, learn the difference between forums. (There's a forum for suggestions)

Make perf weapons and use them in pve because you're level 20? Cool!

I think his idea only counts PvP areas.

It's your problem that you don't have enough slots. Fork out the $9.99.

I guess the only way I could sort of agree with this is to make PvP weapons available only in the PvP areas. Otherwise, no.

I want pvp weapons for my heros,why do i have to give them my weapons and waste my money when they take all the drops and loot anyway!!! GRRRR!!!

And why do this slow server always pisses me off!

For PvE characters to try PvP,

Level 20 - check (Part of the adventure)
1st/2nd 15pt attribute quest - check (Part of the adventure)
Ascension for 2nd prof change - check (Part of the adventure)
Skills to use - check (Skill traders for normals & Cap Sig for Elites)
Max AL armour - check (Armour crafters)
Runes/Inisginas for armour - check (Rune traders)
Req 9 sword & shield - check (Collectors & Weapon crafters)
Prefixs/Postfixs/Inscriptions - ???

All that is missing are those Weapon/Shield's Prefixs/Postfixs and hard to find Inscriptions. Even spamming WTB for days can't get you what you are looking for.

But try to explain this to a pveonly nerd.
A mate of me needed a zealous mod for axe for a scheduled HA-run. When time was running out he upped his offer to 20p. Did he get the mod? No. What did he get? Endless flames accusing him of inflating the prices and being a moronic farmer and...meh.

This is not an issue ~ collector and crafter items are available cheap/free and greens are at rock bottom prices, you get can get perfect stuff for a low price.

The only really expensive stuff is sword fortitude and sup vigor runes.

edit: Myrkwid ~ he could have picked up a [wiki]Wing's Axe[/wiki] for 5k in minutes by spamming Kaineng Center en-1/ad-1

Its kind of unfair that i have to pay, just because my char isnt a pvp char, dont you think?

I think its unfair that I have to share a game with someone as stupid as you tbh.

if you want to have access to the pvp equipment screen, make yourself a pvp char. if you don't want to delete one of your precious pve chars, then get ready to fork out 100k+ for those perfect equipment.

There should be some way to make pve characters worthwhile in pvp without spending tons of gold and hours getting the exact mods you need. This could be one way of doing it.

Why would you say something like that? I'll say it again, all that does is make others feel bad and make you look like a troll monger. Please be kind to one-another. Even if you think the idea sucks, that's your opinion.

To the OP: I understand what you're getting at. It does make sense to a point, but PvPers and PvEers have never really "connected" on any given point. Usually you're either one or you're the other. Anyone in the middle is not really understood and/or listened to. You're best bet is just to spend PvE money to buy ALOT of weapons specifically for PvP. If you can't do that, I don't think the community will really care, unfortunately.

Once again, be kind to one-another. Ideas can start mundane and become monumental. Don't brush things off as stupid all the time.

Actually that was before the factions release and that mate never bought factions, he quitted gw upon release of it (and it was one of the reasons, that's why I remembered it). I know, that's a year ago, but the situation hasn't changed much as just some of the mods are pretty much broadly available as green items. Greens like the wings axt (perfect zealous axe and easy to get) helped much, but there are still many modcombinations missing or difficult to get. And getting runes and insignias is really painful, esspecially when thinking about going for herobattles....that an absolute no-go-area for pve-character unless the player is a major farmer

Some collectors for them would be nice, of course not handing out a sup vigor for 5 mino horns, but some alternative ways to get needed equipment.
