Our Guild Leader went into FoW last night and the party got no significant drops.
OK, it wasn't Friday the 13th yet, but he just told me about it. And I guess nobody wants a truly unlucky day playing GW.
No drops in FoW. Level 2 monsters kill you no matter what you do. there's a bug in the mission timers so they drop to zero minutes just as you start fighting. Soul reaping gets nerfed ... oh wait, that already happened last Friday.
OK I've had my cheap jab, now onto the main business. What do you think would be fun in a Friday 13th event?
Do we get to fight Black Cats? Do ladders mysteriously appear for us to walk under? Do we get drops of spilled salt to throw over our shoulders to ward off the bad luck?
Friday 13th Event?

..carry on.
When you sell anything at a merchant, a random item (including your held items) is sold instead. (merchant lag!)
When you enter an explorable area, your skillbar is replaced with the previous build you loaded. (sorry guys, I forgot to switch from my farming build before we left!)
GW reboots every time a gold item drops for you, and you can't reconnect for 11 minutes. (Arrrrgh!)
You mysteriously die just before achieving a flawless victory in any arena. (WFT?)

Most of these ideas are not very good for events... 90% of them are detrimental to the player. Imagine if the random item got sold instead of your merchant food was your gold req 8 15^50 crystalline... Sure it may be funny to you people when a newbie yells "WHY DID IT SELL MY WEAPON NOOOOO" but how funny is it when your items are wasted due to a planned glitch?
Events are supposed to be fun... not ruin people's accounts, characters, and time, and interest in the game...
