Flickering Bar

A few people mentioned it on #gwp, but I didnt see a post anywhere about it yet, so figured i'd make one.

Anyone else getting the flickering blue bar(i'm guessing XP toolbar) coming at the bottom of GW window?

Just started with todays update. Never seen anything like it before.

i get it too, if u change ur resolution to sumting else than back to original it seems to get rid of it, but its pretty dang annoying.

1440x900 also, patch must of caused a problem with that setting....

changing the resolution and changing it back seems to help for a while, but this should still be an outstanding bug IMO, if it doesn't get fixed within the next few days. I hope Anet is aware of it.

I run this resolution as well and I do not experience the flickering bar.

What graphics card and driver version do you have?

I messed around with this some more last night.

Problem is with Small interface size.
A work-around is to change resolution and then hit revert.
Don't tab out to windows though or you'll have to repeat the process.

Also, if a mod could maybe move this to the bug forum, would be good.

Mine is white/yellow flickering in the last line of pixels (button) of the screen, only with Small interface (option I always use and will always use)

Sometimes I see a line in top of the screen too in loadings.

I get it with the large interface screen. My resolution 1440X900 and it only happens at the bottom of the screen.

My res is 1024x768 and I get the flicker on the last line of pixels only. It will go away sometimes when I port to certain towns. I never had this issue until yesterday with the new update.

i also have it, it doesnt like alt tabbing or programs in the background that are visible on the taskbar.

Yeah I get the same thing on Windows 2000 so its not just an XP thing

This should probably be moved to the bugs section...this section would imply that there is something that we could do about it...but seeing as though I've played GW for almost two years, up to yesterday afternoon, with no problems, and then post-update the last line of pixels is screwed up, would imply that it's not our faults. Changing the res does seem to be a temporary fix, and sometimes it just goes away on its own, but I like minimizing once in a while, and it's just an unnecessary inconvenience.

yeah ive got this same issue. I run 1900x1200 on a 24 inch dell. I use the small interface and i get the flicker, switch to normal size interface and its gone. But i dont like the normal size! Guess it will do for now until its fixed hopefully.

i am experiencing exactly the same problems ... but it seems not to be resolution related as i am running on a 1024 x 768 , well at least its not only happening under 1440 x 900 .

I hope this gets fixed ... its god damn annoying .

heres my specs 1024x768 small size interface running on an Nvidia card 6200geforce latest graphics drivers and latest dx drivers.

Yeah I get the same thing. Started after the latest update.

Yep. happens when I alt+tab to windows and back - changing the interface size, or zoning fix it... but it's quite annoying.

everyone else have nVidias then?
