Your capitalization there is unnecessary. In that instance it would be "hero", not "Hero".

Lawl spontaneous combustion. Mesmer fits the story, where the former was just a fun gag at the end of the beta test. Gwen grew up, wonder why we don't look all old and busted?

I want a charr shaman to run around with my minipet.

I would like to see a female mesmer and warrior just for diversity.

A male ranger and female necro for the same reason.

I could care less about the dervish assassin and paragon. I never seem to use the ones I have.

A quiet tengu would be nice, the henchman I can never use because it's screeching freaks out my dog.

I want one Deldrimor Dwarf to back me up.

I want King Adelbern. Hell, if given the choice, I would have stayed with him and let Rurik go it alone in Prophecies.

I want Old Mac and his pet devourer.

I want the ghost of Master Togo.

I want Gwen and I want her to be able to switch primaries as she never could decide what she wanted to be.

I really don't see the point of 10 more heroes if you are still limited to 3 at a time.

Good post, LethalHands. It's good to see people thinking about this, and it's even fun to speculate and see who comes closest to the mark.

I think (1) you know the stories very well and (2) you have some really nice ideas there.

Kinda made this post just to be under Gaile's (not a stalker, really, just a fan!), but I also hope Gwen is a hero and that we do get some or all of Salamanca's awesome ideas.

BTW , just remember that the Gwen picture looks like a mesmer , that doesn't mean she is a mesmer.

It could just mean that one of the ele armors in GW:EotN looks more like what a mesmer should wear.Also remember she will be a npc , and we all know npc have most of the time : Cooler armor then players and armors we can never get

So they can easily make her a mesmer , cause thats what she said she might want to be ( she admired lady althea or whatever lol ) or they could go with Elementalist ,cause she burned us all in the Beta, OR! they could even make her a monk since she healed us in Pre-Searing.

I'm thinking on what galie said earlier....

could it be that GW:EN kinda makes it that we choose whether we go with Rurik or stay and kick the charr back?

would love it myself.

Ritualist are one the stronger characters in the game, if played rightly. Even after nerf after nerf from Anet, I can still think of builds that can do massive damage in near seconds, or do extreme amounts of cheap healing. Ritualist bosses are always overpowered (420 AoE damage on spirit rift (!)).

I want 3 more Rt heroes in GWEN!

Of all the news flying around here, this is the one comment that piques my interest the most.

On topic, I'd love for the new heroes to be of a different sex than the ones we currently have, ie. female ele, necro, paragon, warrior, ritualist; male ranger and assassin.

It would also be great to see one or two variable primary heroes, like was originally intended with Razah.

I've been playing for +500 hours. I have 67k.

Yes, it does take some of us that long to earn money.

Thus, Razah, for many of us, is simply unattainable.

I'd love Devona, Mhenlo, Aiden, Cynn & Eve as Heroes. I figure it'd be quite fitting, since they've been with you the whole way.

I second that. They are favorite NPC's for a lot of people. We saw in NF that it is possible to just rename duplicates "Sunspear Warrior" and so on. Plus it would add a female warrior, male ranger, female necro, and female ele which is currently desired by many

I'd also like to see the option to have up to 7 heroes. Adding another 10 will make 25 heroes. Only being able to pick 3 of those makes me sad

Here's my guess.

2 charr
2 sylvari
2 norn
2 asura
2 human.

10 new heroes = all 10 professions = 1 of each.

It works out quite well actually.

Charr = warrior and ele
norn = unsure, as I don't know what they are or what they look like
sylvari = unsure, as I don't know what they are or what they look like
asura = assassin and mesmer
human = monk and ranger

That's a lot of free storage.

And that's per character.

Remember that Guild Wars is a game of skill and not time spent. Some people simply do not have the skill for certain things. It's not a bad thing by any means, it just makes us pros look better.

On the other hand, it's the skillless people who get run places and pay people to play the game for them with money from ebay. I believe that if someone isnt skilled enough to beat something, they should be stuck in that very spot until they either fluke it or get skilled enough to beat it.

At least 1/4 of the people who are let's say at the end of Nightfall and have their primeval armor, didn't actually play through, and likely don't have the skill to get there. There are people who have gone through torment with a hired runner(this can mean quick mission playing, not just literally running) when really, they don't have the skill to beat the Grand Court of Sebelkeh.

My point is, the poster who said Razah is "unattainable" may be new, but at least he didn't get run for it, so it isn't all that bad.
