okay so I've been trying to get one of these for quite sometime... I've noticed a large increase in the amount of gold colossal scimitars, so I was wonder where have any of you found or farmed them?
I tried cr in the barbarous coast... and well i guess i could keep trying that, I was also killing every corsair in that zone.
I recently searched for colossal scimitars in search and came across an idea for soloing the beginning of moddok where u kill the corsairs in the very beginning(where u talk to the corsair captain) over and over and people have claimed to get them from doing this... but after the first few runs it doesnt even seem possible that they will drop a max dmg one. >_<

3 axe (runes don’t really matter)
12 restoration
12 tactics (1+1 helm)
There no need for any sup being used
VwK - elite
Vengeful
Cyclone axe
Shield stance
Healing sig
Dolyak
Bonettis
Resilient Weapon
Swap in or out watch yourself/ resilient/ vengeful
Vengeful isn’t really needed that much unless You Feel That killing the Corsairs at diff times (not all at the same) Spacing the deaths out to try to get more loot, it doesn’t seem to matter too much.
First Decline
again a little distance and hit Shield stance once the corsairs swarm on you... keep adding some distance if u need it
Then throw up VwK and then resilient weapon and Dolyak, be sure to face the corsairs and kite backwards so you’re not taking a ton of criticals in the back.
Keep alternating VwK Shield Stance and Bonettis
Use Bonettis whenever you need energy, resilient is 10e but it lasts for 17 when not under weakness and 16 under weakness.
I did that farming a couple times myself but got bored quite quickly.
