It's now about a half year since I had my "WTB 400k commission contest" and I'm pleased to start a new contest with Shanaeri Rynale by my side. The "WTB Duo 870k commission contest!"
For the contest participants will draw either my character Sanra Sprinkleworth or Shanaeri Rynale. Or both characters in one picture!
There's 2 prize lists this time around. One for duo pictures which has both Shan and Sanra, and another for drawings with only one character. Participants are free to draw entries for both prize lists.
Here's how the prize list looks like!
Prizes for duo drawings:
1st place: 200k + special prize
2nd: 75k
3rd: 60k
4th: 50k
5th: 40k
6th: 30k
7th: 20k
8th: 15k
9th: 10k
10th: 5k
The special prize for the winner is having Shan and Sanra ingame as his/her slaves for one ingame session. We'll do whatever mission, quest or anything the winner wants to do. The session can last several hours until Real Life (TM) interfers and forces one of us to quit the game. (if the top winner doesn't want this prize (whaaat?) the next in line gets it)
Prizes for single character drawings:
Best Shan picture: 150k + special prize
Best Sanra picture: 150k + special prize
3rd place: 60k
4th: 55k
5th: 45k
6th: 35k
7th: 25k
8th: 20k
9th: 15k
10th: 10k
The special prize here is the same as the one for duo prices, the winner of best Sanra/Shan gets only Sanra/Shan as slave for one ingame session. If the winner of one the 2 top prizes happens to be the winner of the duo prize special prize, the next in line gets the prize instead.
There's also an extra prize list for honourable mentions. This is for pictures which are quite not up to the standard (stick drawings, simple photoshop manipulations and similar) of what is seen for the main prize lists. For this list, we'll be throwing in a bunch of minipets.

1st prize: Mini Varesh
2nd: Mini Jade Armor
3rd: Mini Fungal Wallow
4th: Mini Warthog
5th: Another Mini Warthog
6th: Yup... another Mini Warthog
7th: You might...
8th: get the...
9th: picture by now.
10th: Mini Warthog. *gasp*
And as a final prize, once we're done with the contest we'll have the community vote for the best drawing among the duo/single entries, and the winner of that vote gets a pre-order Nightfall key (which includes a unique scythe and spear, and a character slot) and a gemstone set (worth about 70k). If the winner of this vote doesn't want this prize, the artist who got the second place in the vote gets it instead.

Participants will draw either Sanra or Shan for single character drawings, or both characters for duo drawings. You can choose what outfits the characters should be wearing for the drawings. We've included 2 outfit variations below in highquality screenshots. But artists should feel free to make changes to the outfits to make them more interesting or easier to draw... or if you want, draw the character(s) in a completely different outfit. We don't want the artists to feel limited and we're looking forward to see lots of creativity with the entries.
It's up to the participants whether or not to draw Sanra/Shan with weapons. You can see Shan's preferred weapon in the reference screenshots. I haven't included any weapon in Sanra's reference screenshots because the weapon I prefer (a rapier!) isn't in the game yet. *kicks anet*

I recommend you try to think of a good theme for the entries. A simple drawing of Sanra/Shan in a generic pose isn't awfully exciting and will have less chance of winning. But a more unique entry will have a higher chance of winning. A few examples:
Sanra being jealous of Shan's expensive FoW outfit and stealing it. Or Shan spontaneously falling in love with Sanra and tries to win her heart (or the other way around). Or an action scene with Shan/San fighting monsters. Even if you prefer to just draw San/Shan in a simple pose, you can make it more interesting by having a special perspective and/or a unique background... or just be insanely good at drawing.

Some other rules:
-Participants can't win more than one prize per prize list. But they can have as many entries as they want, and win for both duo and single picture.
-We reserve the right to spontaneously change the prizes. Don't worry, if we do so we'll be making them bigger.
-Once the contest is over and the winners has been announced, we'll be meeting ingame on 28th April in Balthazar's Temple Inter 1 to hand out all the prizes. If some winners can't meet up, we'll work out a time to hand out the prizes to them.
