OK Basically the idea is to have a little thing thet tells you how many unused corpses are in your range. IT would be very useful for MM's so they dont waste energy or time trying to figure out if theirs an unused corpse near them.

Any ideas? feedback is welcomed...

Different colored or shaped dots on the radar if you have any corpse exploiting skills would be useful. The ability to turn it off would be nice as well.

the current works fine. if there are no usable corpses you just wont be able to cast a spell that requires one.
i don't see how this can add anything useful that isn't already covered with the current game mechanics

i dont play an MM but i dont see where it would hurt. as long as you can also turn it off.

If you use animate xx and there are no corpses, you don't waste energy. This doesn't really seem needed.

well, like many things in the game it isn't essential, but it would be healpful and you could turn it off if you didnt want it. so i don't see the big deal....

if you are a half decent mm you know when something dies and are able to see enemies as they fall. there is no use for this. it is just another thing that would bog down the game and make more work for the programmers for something that really has no use. plus you will not waste energy if you miss a corpse unless something else steals it while you are casting your skill. so the radar would have shown you a corpse and you would be wasting the energy anyways. It isnt a half bad idea but there is just no use for it.

Anytime something dies near our, Soul Reaping Activates, and you can see the corpses liying on the ground... I've never faced a situation in wich there were corpses around without me knowing it.

You don't waste energy using animate spells when there are no available corpses, only when someone takes a corpse before you finish the spell. In that case the thing you are wishing for wouldn't help. Personally I keep track of what I get from soul reaping and my minion count to determine corpses.

Some MM's are primary Ritualists. I'm working on a Rt/N MM and its going rather well. Though I'll admit that Soul Reaping is the most useful primary attribute for MM's. These days minions seem to die faster than ever. Even old Fleshy doesn't stay alive as long as he used to.

The Soul Reaping visual effect tends to let you know when you should summon another batch of minions. To tell you the truth, my Heroes MoW and Olias are better minion masters than I am. Certainly much quicker. I find that I can direct the fight better if I am using attack skills versus minion skills.

I think if ANet allows the mini-map to become "too useful" it may increase lag or be more useful to one class than another.

Spam the number that has your animate spell in it. If it says Invalid Target, move on. Dead corpses are gray on the radar. Doesn't waste energy.

I thought thats why you had soul reaping as a Necromancer only attribute?

Being able to see how much health each minion had would be much more useful to human MM, the heroes are just so good at knowing!!
