Also the package i got with my pc gave me an NVIDIA nForce 500 SLI Chipset and it's designed for AMD Socket AM2 Athlon 64/X2/SemPron Processors....it's an additional attachment and I think it might be used to improve rendering...so edges around characters and objects look smoother...but i have no idea how to attach it or if what i just said is even true

There aren't really any "best" settings. It's really a matter of taste. With a 7300 I'd me more worried about turning down settings to get decent framerates.
Your SLI chipset allows you to use 2 SLI video cards at the same time. In order to use it you would have to buy 2 SLI-capable video cards (not a cheap prospect). IMO, SLI is a waste of money. Basically, you would probably have to spend about $300 - $500 on video cards in order to make it worth it. Otherwise it's better to just stick with one video card that has the price and performance you want.
