Anyone want 20k an Hour Mo/Me 55 style?

I did this run for a looooong time and as far as I know they nerfed the drops. I was getting gold, gold drops (frequently), Spiritwood planks, dragon roots, and other crap like CRAZY. I was making some decent scratch. Then all of a sudden...POOF...drops are crap. And now you are coming here telling me you got an elemental sword from them? I call shenanigans. I am going to go test this out. And if it is true that the drops are better...well they will be nerfed again soon since we are talking about it here. Anti-farm code kicked in. Don't be to quick to accuse others.

Okay so head out of Saint Anjeka's Shrine into Drzach thicket or whatever its called. Cast Blessed, Baths,Essence, and sig. Now run forward til you see the 12 dragon mosses. Cast PS and SoA(and renew as necisarry), charge in and aggro them move back a bit towards the shrine but only until out of spell range. Cast Arcane Echo followed by SoJ. when the Recharge Shadow hits the 1 in the right hand corner of the SoJ skill then cast the echoed version. By the time the echoed SoJ runs out they should all be dead. Let the wardens patrol off then pick up your loot. This earns me a comfortable 20-25k an hour + some nice drops. And my elemental swords says this isnt a load of crap :P

Make sure you have the quest "A New Escort."

Anti-farm code kicked in. Don't be to quick to accuse others. I'm sorry to sound rude but no...you are wrong. I am very conscious of the anti-farm code at all times. I did about 5 runs at a time and then switched to something else. I used to rotate between things alot specifically to avoid that. And I farmed the mosses enough to know that the drops became crap.

And I was of the understanding that ele swords only dropped in NF too. Hence Why I called the shenanigans. If said shenanigans were out of order or offensive in anyway, I rescind the aforementioned shenanigans and add an apology for any offense taken.


EDIT: Ahh I see metalmaster. Read it too fast and jumped to a conclusion I suppose. Sorry bout that OP, no excuses. But I still stand by the fact that the dragon mosses arent really worth it anymore.

Aryth anti farm code doesnt need to show up for your drops to start sucking. I am not talking about the anti farming message. Anti farm code just means the more you do it in a row the more it starts to suck. The anti farming message is something completely different if My understanding is correct.

Anyways just did about 5 runs and here is what I have found. With gold (money) dropping, selling everything to merch, and the occasional purple/gold drop also getting sold to merch (presupposing it is worthless) I am looking at about 600-800g per run. each run takes about 3 minutes starting from zone in but I will take into account loading times and stopping to sell off crap. So lets say 4 min a run.

Thats 15 runs per hour and lets call it in the middle for total money per run at 700g average per run.

700*15=10.5k/hour

While that is a nice little figure I cant agree with the OP's 20-25k an hour. And believe me I wish I could get 20-25k an hour because the dragon mosses used to be one of my favorite farms.

Please dont take my word for it solely. Test it out yourselves and post if you find contradictory views to mine.

Also you could land a r8 gothic dual axe 15^50 and that would net you a tidy sum. But that is irrelevant for this discussion.

Oh. And after 5 runs just now, I got 2 purple kris daggers, 17 dragon roots, about 20-25 spiritwood planks, and misc whites and money. I think the gold drop rate for this is very very low. I used to sometimes get 2 golds a run and the average was a purple and a spattering of blues per run.

Lol...two golds a run, I find that hard to believe. Not two golds a run. I said SOMETIMES I got two golds in one run. It happened more than once I know that. But that was before NF was even out.
