Please Make AUSTRALIAN SERVERS

Hello, i just want to say that ive been getting 300-1000 ping on americans servers because im from australia and my fps is 4 .....you wont believe the lagg i get.

my connection is fine so is my computer but i cant stand the lagg

please make aus servers

....fps depends on your ping alone? I thought it was more about your PC than anything.

And I'm in Thailand with US account so....

FPS depends on your computer and has nothing to do with your internet connection

i'm from new zealand but i would never play on an australian server because it would never get favour.

Lol I'm from australia and have a 56k connection. I usualy get around 200-300 ping which is excellent imo.

and yes, FPS stands for Frames Per Second, and has nothing to do with your internet connection.

If you (the OP) think attacking person via personal message would make your point any stronger, you're wrong.

Australian servers is a bad idea, there'd be like 50 players on them.

Agreed talon, however, getting into the stale and BORING conversation about whether or not Australia should or shouldn't have it's own District is something I don't want to have to read for at least another month or so.

Gaile has said on NUMEROUS occasions, that there will be NO Australian district/server.

It's come up a couple times before in the suggestion section; and the suggestion section this is not....

I'm from Australia, and have almost no problem with lag. I doubt it's your ping that is causing your problems, because I usually only get around 300-1000 and I barely ever get lag. But it also depends on what you mean by lag. Is it lag in the sense that the server stops, so you can move around but nothing else can, and eventually once it reconnects, you get shot back to where you where before the lag? Or is it just that the animation is jerky?

The latter would be caused by your extremely low FPS. You should have FPS at at least 20 (at least, that's what mine is and it's rarely having problems). And your FPS has nothing to do with your net connection, or your location with regards to the server. You need a faster computer.

If it's the former, I'm not sure. Do you play on euro servers? Cause they seem to be having problems recently. If you're on euro, maybe switch over to American. You'll get better pings. Otherwise I'm not sure.

This is at least the 3rd thread about this issue I've seen... There is(was?) a thread about this in the suggestion area.

There aren't enough Australian players, not to mention the CR team (Alex Weekes if I recall) answered already - bandwidth for a datacenter in Oceania would simply be too expensive.

I agree also, Im from New Zealand. if they made an australian server, then I'm going to stay in America along with the favour (plus I only have 1 server pass left, so I'm not willing to use it :S)

My connection to the US from Australia is perfectly fine. I don't run into any weird lag.

Dude I think you better check your computer for spyware, or get a new graphics card.
