I dont know about anyone else but one of the biggest thrills in PvE for me was finding some small town off in the middle of nowhere. Nothing else game me so much satisfaction in the game. I would love to see more little towns, or shrines or ruins and things like that tucked into little corners of the map or off in the middle of nowhere or something like that. I mean not an obsene amount, but just a bunch of them dotting the map.

Caravan that would sell exotic goods and give out special quest. They would be moving from zone to zone... (so like between 1am to 6am, can be found in one zone, and between 6am to 12pm... another.. etc)
I will be sure to steal that idea and use it sometime...

The only way to find it is to find some NPC out there in the wilderness (some city guard)
One place I felt there should have been a little town in was between the Temple of Ages and the Wilds. Heck, at level 16 I took a group of henchmen from ToA and went all the way across, expecting something to be in there. There wasn't. I was wondering if anyone else found a little village (not an outpost), just a few buildings, somewhere in the south of Talmark Wilderness. There was a sign to it on the road and began with D. So when I followed the sign I thought I was heading to an outpost.
In Chapter 2, I definitely want to see more outposts about the place, tucked around a corner in the wilderness, up on a mountain ledge, in an opening in the forest, in a temple in the middle of the desert, etc. In this way, having no portals visible on the map for this kind of thing would make the aspect even better.
Like, a travelling circus, with special items being sold, performances, quests, etc. Sounds great.
They're not moving, but I know there are 'fairs' (I can't remember how to spell that) on WoW. Something like those, except in moving caravans and far better stuff --> GW Chapter 2 please.

I agree with this idea whole heartedly.
I started playing the typical warrior/monk when i first picked up GW.
But I later found I had the heart of a ranger since i explored about everywhere I could go.
This should be an idea for chapter 2. More little towns that are out of the way (maybe even with quests) that one must explore to find.
The moving gypsys/caravan of wanderers idea is great..never know when to expect them next.
For those who are still exploring...leave from TOA going west. Follow the path in the direction towards the wilds. Have you found the oustide temple/ruins with 5 bone dragons sitting guard?
Nothing terribly special...but neat to find.

Heeh!
I remember when I found that one 1st time... I was out there with my Supa-Heala & Hechies, just unveiling the map. I guess I was lvl 15 or so at the time. That place was like awesome to find. It'd be nice to have a spot there to Maptravel/teleport... would just go there every now and then to kick some Dtagon-butt and have a tea on his corpse
I had a similar experience when I first entered SF... felt like Newbie again... got lost and got killed (to great amusement of my company) to those crushing thing like 5 times.
