:o) Complete Guide to the 2007 Cantha New Year Event :o)

I'm not going to add any non-confirmed information and silly rumors to the guide.

I don't want to sound stupid, but I just haven't heard anyone mention this: Will the Lunar Fortunes act exactly the same after the event? In other words, should I use them before the event is over or can I hold on to them for a while and still have the same chance to get those their items? (Pigs too)

Pah Pei (one of the Knight of Nian, during Respective quest) dropped Cho Wei's Axe for me. He is the warrior boss of the three. I suspect the others also drop greens.

Someone might want to farm these guys, since there are 3 respectively easy (non-max) bosses next to eachother.

Anyway, I got a screenshot to prove it, but I dont think it is neccecary, cos its not a big deal axe anyway.

The other bosses are ele and mesmer, and they prob drop their respective starter-green.

i got the axe also, first green in ages O.O

Rollerbeetle racing can also be accessed from the Great temple of balthazar.

I think this might actually be referring to the mini piggies. They have the same little bag icon; I guess that's how they decided to tell us there was a special surprise in the fortunes without telling us what the surprise was.

Curious to know what the Chefs are going to give if you get all the ingredients. Some of those things are kinda hard to get. Do you think it will be worth it to go out and hunt for all this stuff?

All the starter greens are listed on wiki, there is also fens focus that drops (monk smitting focus).

The quotes during spiritual possession are taken from a few sources, of which, include poltergeist, the simpsons (someone already mentioned), sixth sense, army of darkness, resident evil and ghostbusters. Theres a few i don't recognize and the rest are from gw of course.

I haven't done it myself; but I guess the reward is a couple tokens...

RTSFirebat, I have to say, your guide brings a big smile to my face! I know these take a lot of time to put together, time that you could be using in the RBA or gathering items for yourse. I got the mesmer illusion green.
/confirm.

Hmm I think I was confused, one boss has a yellow warrior aura and uses warrior skills, he drops the warrior axe.
The other is having mesmer aura and using mesmer skills.
The third has ele aura BUT uses a bow and ranger skills. Wonder what she drops. Though, its undoubtly crap.

I added "the possible increase drop rate on greens when using lucky aura" on Wiki. I was in Sunqua, and with lucky aura the monk boss dropped his green. I got another green from the nec boss on teh way to Kinya province gate. I had 3 heros in my party at the time (they weren't flagged off screen)

I attempted to test this with Ghial, but I died during the trip (quickly too--I solo this a lot and have never seen damage like I received last night....) Lack of patience prevented me from testing further...

I never had a green drop from Shing Jea bosses before, so this lead to my suspicions. (Too bad these greens are worthless)

Any news on when the hats are gonna be available?
