Notable Achievements in Your GW Career

Well, after seeing the "What HAVEN'T you done in Guild Wars?" thread, I decided, why not make an opposite? Post here any notable things you've done in Guild Wars. Me:

1) Get 15k armor for my ranger (you'd be amazed how many people can't even afford that, though I've been <20k ever since).

2) Attend a meeting with The Frog.

3) In that same meeting, The Frog answered one of my questions!

4) Find a sup vigor.

5) W/Mo beat her doppel in like 15 seconds (though I'm sure that's not too hard for warriors).

6) Only fail THK once.

7) Participate in Wintersday 2005 in all its old Prophecies-only goodness.

8) Beat The Wilds with henchies (only have been able to pull it off once).

Started at release, am still playing now, no breaks.

I think that's pretty notable.

Kind of a Big Deal

There is one thing I do not understand is that how can people not make money?

I mean, I have 4 PvE characters and they all have more than one set of Ascended armor AT LEAST. And Green, or perfect weapons. And all the money making process took like a week in summer doing UW and FoW, or other elite areas. And now with DoA, its sooo easy to make cash. Even if you do like THK mission, after you come out, just selling the common drops will get you 5k. LOL

(I'm a PvP'er, so this is gonna be a lot of PvP accomplishments)

1. UAX Warrior (first profession ever)
2. UAX six other professions (and working on more)
3. 1,000,000 faction total
4. Guild top 100 (just made it today!)
5. Rank 3 (while IWAY'ing -.-)
6. Beating Smart People [sM]
7. Beating Souls of Glory by outganking them (fun fun)
8. Beating Zero Files Remaining [LaG] while guesting

And now for my short list of PvE accomplishments <3

1. Beating THK for the first time as a Barrage ranger and 7 henchies.
2. Getting 15k Kurzick armor for my Warrior
3. Learning to 55 (or Spirit Bond, actually, back when it was viable)

Yeah...that's it :S

- Finishing my monk's set of FoW armor.
- Achieving Tyrian Pathfinder when the titles were first implemented by running around outside Fort Ranik. I thought it was so cool.
- Getting my r3 and deer.
- First win (and flawless ) in a GvG match.
- Capping 291 elites for Elite Skill Hunter.
- KoaBD.
- My first ever green drop (Forgerunner).
- Beating Mad King Thorn in rock-paper-scissors for the first time.

Then some lesser achievements, like first time soloing through the spider cave in FoW or the smites in UW.

It's not a very long or impressive list, but I'm happy with it:

- Soloing various places
- Running around Ascalon for Tyrian Explorer
- Participating in and winning my first GvG
- Getting over the hump and starting HA
- Beating cow and ugly at courtyard before rank 1 with an awesome guild team doing the heavy lifting
- Getting rank 1 so far lol

- Soloing through several quests and into the Chaos Planes in the UW (pre-Dying Nightmares)
- Farming all the gold and materials to craft my Fissure armor
- Making the journey from Lomar's to Drok's with just two other fellow noobs - none of us set up to run or tank - after the rest of our party quit at Dreadnought's
- Having Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer the moment the titles system was introduced
- Earning KoaB
- 291 elite skills capped
- Acquiring enough spiked eggnog (through farming, snowball arena, and trade) to earn Incorrigible Ale Hound
- Being able to help others earn IAH quickly through zoning
- Mad Skillz, yo

Nothing special really..

1. FoW armor
2. Making millions
3. UAX on my necro

These 3 had the most effect, there is many other smaller things.

1. Never failed at THK
2. Got to Level 20 around the time I got to Beacons the first time.
3. 2 glads points with one team, that started in RA.
4. Had all the mini pets.
5. Earned and cashed in 50,000 Luxon Factions in one day

Got 2 FoW armor sets
Good guild
Soloing Racthoh Demini
Elite Skill hunter (5)

Yea, that was an interesting event.

I was so happy when he liked my idea of Charrs invading Tyria and we had to fight back for the land.

Ahh, memories of Ettin farming.

Hmm other notable events in Guild Wars...

1. Getting a Minipet presents for my Warrior from Arena.Net.
2. Made millions.
3. Making great friends.
4. Getting Kind of a Big Deal, hope to get Incorrigible Ale Hound soon.
5. Beating Prophecies.
6. Buying 15k Kurzick armor for my Warrior.
7. Winning my first GvG battle.
8. Beating Mad King Thorn in a rock-paper-scissor fight in 2005.

All I can think of now...

Maybe more cant think of any atm.

-All proffesions level 20.
- Lots of 15k Armor.
-Drunkard Title
-Protector of Cantha
-Expert Skill Hunter
-Beating NF the first weekend it was out
-Beating tombs with 3 diff proffs (Ranger, Monk, Necro).
-Attending ALL events.
-beating all campaigns.
- Sup Vig.
- So much other stuff . . .

1. winning halls with henchies
2. keeping on HA'ing after the inclusion of 6v6
3. infusing ritspike, FoC, and ranger spike
4. Earing 600k
5. 900k balth faction earned

My Rit is just the loveliest creature. Im not hardcore though, so no big titles or that jazz >.<

- All armor! saving up for FoW now, but apart from that, I have a set for every occassion!
- Beating Deer when our guild was ranked 200+ and they were ranked 50-something. It was my 3rd GvG ever!
-Keeping friends I made from day 1 - now... I think thats notable.

HAPPY VALENTINES!

Recently started to suffer from rsi in my right wrist cutting down my ability to play to almost nothing..



To me, being able to get the character up there in the first place and get the required money/materials is the biggest achievement to date.

1.) Cleared FoW with myself & a guildie. (2human + 6hero)
2.) Two fow armour, plenty of 15k sets, can comfortably afford others.
3.) Playing steadily for 18months or so, just now taking a break ...
4.) Apart of a fantastic guild, full of great people.
5.) My PvE titles so far (3 GMC, the usuals, and others) - persuing chesting/ale-hound/unids now.

That's all that come to mind for now. ^^

1. Beat Proph in ascalon armor (no cash for better armor)

That's about it...

Capped Powerblock when Signet of Capture wasn't gay yet.
