Hi.

Please don't ignore this as a flame post; this is a genuine complaint I have, and before I send any more tickets to the GW Support, I want to find out if anyone on the US servers is having any of the same problems.

The problems consist of;
-> Random and huge lag spikes
-> Random code=40 or code=13 errors. These seem to effect EVERYONE in my guild...I get a bug and crash, log in to find the next bug...
-> Totally screwed guild. Everything; alliance and guild chat is about 45 seconds behind...I dont HAVE a guild for about 5 minutes, and when it loads, I find everyone else is offline (when they are online in my buddies).

I spoke to my guildies...many of them have the exact same complaints, but we're all on the EU servers, so I can't say whether its happening on the US side also.

I sent a ticket to ANet about it, got the usual automated response crap. Im going to be sending another; I tried earlier and oh look! Their complaints site ALSO seems to be having code=040s.

I getting the same thing. lots of code 40s and 13s, and terrible lag spikes that arent helping much in HA and elite missions. Right now ive been unable to connect for 20 mins.

I've not had any problems with GW's lag other then if I'm running Ventrillo at the same time and then if I'm playing GW's windowed. But I've not heared that kind of problem from anyone in my guild and we are all US.

I'm getting these problems on the Eu servers also, yet not on my other account that is int he usa servers, so i'm guessing it's here, or it insn't as much of a problem on the american server.

lost the guild window/cape, 7 chars bugged when logging in, lag spikes of 2500+ on a 10meg line...this sucks ..and I'm on UK Euro server..hm

I does seem to sound like a Euro Server problem. Just give em time to fix it. I know it sucks because we had that problem with the traders months back on the us servers and then had to wait while they was fixed and rolled back.

Same here, and I just un-installed due to crashing problems while GW was running, so now I must download everything in lag mode.

Europe ftw btw.

I don't watch the site news...usually stuff like that is posted on fansites, and I monitor a few of those alot.

Doesn't help that wiki also seems to be buggered for me...

Talking to people in #gwp, seems to be mostly euro only problem. One person in the US was getting err=58 nonstop, but all the other US people were fine. ALL YOUR FAVOR ARE BELONG TO US. That is all.

Yeh, EU servers here, GW is completely broke.
I supose its the only way anet can ensure their american users get to see UW.

havent been able to log in for the past 1 hour and 40 minutes or so...
just... not at all.. err40 al the way :S
everyone i know playing this has the same problems...

I am logged on right now, but if i travel, most of the time i get an error.

No faction line, looks like luxon owned everything ^^ but this is just a malfunction ofcourse.

We've been having lots of fun on vent trying to get online and keep shouting we had err=040.

Too bad it happened during our gvg session.

I'm also in the euro server and noticed the major lag about 4h ago. The thing is so bad sometimes it says I have no guild and that's not to say the server can't even send me who owns Factions outposts - at first I thought Luxons had almost it all, but reading the description showed me I was wrong:



For now I'm just using the International Districts, which seem to be hosted on the american server. Obviously it's not enough for getting into UW/FoW but is a pretty decent workaround until anet gets the euro servers fixed.

We loaded 6 people in HA, no grey names, just 6 people. Opponents got 8, lawl (we won).

gotta love random comments...

Anyway, do u guys think its affecting pvp in general, I'm from america and i've been expierencing terrible connections. Yesterday it was extreme 5 sec lag spikes of 3000+ ping, and now its code 15/13 in HA when I'm trying to get the the next map after winning a game. I dunno if I had the HA issue cause I was playing with 7 europeans but the connection is crappy.

No issuies for me in US servers.

This problem is easily fixed with -image
