Anyone notice now gold pile drop sepearately??

So all drop rates are doubled and no official word about it? That's odd.

Itll be a bug with the weekend, it only started happening after the update.

FoW unlocked chests were dropping more than one item at a time. 3 purples for 3 people was about the average.

Yeah noticed this change aswell, smites were dropping 2 phantom residues sometimes, wish they drop 2 piles of ectos too

I got 2 ectos from 1 smite last night o.o

I can back up that claim with a double shard drop from a snarling driftwood.

You guys barley noticed the anomaly of GW, I am impressed. There are rare times when certain drop rates can go up increasing well to a certain extent, while other times they will lower to a dead zero. This has happened to me in Sorrows Furnace a couple of times, where the gold drops go up to 900g’s. Only on a certain quest, times, and places.

I made 50k off two smites. Not to mention the black dye I got from a tusked howler earlier, and around 8k in crap drops. 6 runs later, no ecto xD

Yeah, I got 3 ecto in one run and havn't gotten an ecto in the last 8 runs :P

I remember seeing certain areas dropping two weapons at once for ages. Mostly FoW though.

I noticed that many monsters seem to drop 2 items at once. I was doing a regular routine UW smite run, this dying nightmare popped up, I killed it and it dropped 2 grim cestas; 1 purple, 1 blue.

5 drops from 2 smites? Surely double would be 4? And if the ecto and rubies dropped from the same smite surely it would say "2 x item"?

And those items would be roughly 25k not 50k, unless the merchant is also buying for double from you.

.... So... is this over now?

If not then I seriously have to make an UW farming character (my assassin would never survive down there)... o_0;

Nope, not over...yet, i bet it stops when event stops..i hope not as i just spent 500k on spiked eggnogs, need to get some cash back, made 14 ectos in 5 runs...lol
