Anyone notice now gold pile drop sepearately??

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but while farming in UW today, the item loots were dropping on seperate count as gold coin piles. For example, if I killed a smite, he would drop a phatom residue AND a pile of gold depending on chance. Is this happeneing elsewhere too?

I don't think this anything new...I have noticed that mobs radomly drop gold and items...usually items...or gold...but i know that bosses or boss type mobs sometimes drop both.

I noticed several monsters dropping two things in my UW runs today... one Smite dropped a pile of 200+ gold, a Dying Nightmare dropped a staff and a truncheon. I certainly haven't seen this before today.

Yeah i noticed that. But i noticed that they drop sometimes 2 items like 2 globs of ectoplasm, or they drop 2 amount of golds like 500g. I think its a bug because of the update.

The monster in UW are definitely dropping two item sometimes, there are combo like 200+ gold (aka 2 pile of 100 gold), phatom residue + gold, item + gold, and YES! 2 globs! I just got a drop like that from ONE smite! man that felt good

I ran solo in uw last night and noticed the same thing. I didnt get lucky and get 2 globs on one smite but im hoping ill get lucky with that myself.

Is this only happening in the underworld or has someone gotten 2 items somewhere else?

Yup it seems monsters are dropping double amount of items now in UW. Not sure of other places...Everybody, Charge towards Ectos!

I didn't get any double-ecto drops last night, but the loot was visibly double that of normal drop rates.

Probably related to the increased drop rate in Ugoz's Warren and The Deep, for this weekend...at least that'd be my guess, that something got borked elsewhere.

I was farming vermin and got alot of items like usual but from a mob of 4 (not really a mob) i got 4 items and 3 gold piles.

Yes, ive noticed this to..its great, 10 ectos in 4 runs!

couldnt beleive it..not much luck now though

just getting 200g + remains from 1 smite..ussualy, also getting alot fo golds and purpls items.

Wow A-net made a good move! Now people can actually get something when in an 8-man party :P

Maybe UW got the double chance of rare items instead of Urgoz/Deep cause drop rate there plain sucks :P

the only reason you can get 2 drops is cuz uw farming is alot harder then it use to be eg no more 55 and sv/av nerf

It's the same in FoW.
Doing my beach run alot of monsters are dropping double.
It rocks...
Although it does mean my bags fill up faaar to quickly!

Yes, I am experiencing the same thing.

In two runs, i got 2 golds, 5 200g drops, 3 ectos, and bigger groups of smites.

It must be Anet rewarding the farmers who were hit hard from the update and yet still do it. If so, good move.

Maybe that would explain the FoW chests. Only got to just play since update, but all the unlocked chests now drop 2 things instead of one.

Thought it was strange, but not complaining.

I had 2 phantom keys drop from a single grasping night, the interesting thing was they were stacked.

Its fantastic, I love this..Now if they could only leave it this way

This may explain why I my inventory was filling up so fast today while I was doing missions. Normally, I hardly ever fill up my inventory from one mission, now I can sometimes be stuck choosing which drops are worth more.
