Goren.....any use of him

Well i got Norgu and was really impress with him, but what about goren? Is he any good? Should i choose Norgu over him again(again)? I was playing with ele when i picked norgu and now i am a deverish. So who should i pick?

Norgu > Goren. Goren, majority of the time, will fail you. Even the simplest of builds will be too hard for his two brain cells to comprehend what to do.

Goren has the same AI as Koss - if you want another Koss use him.

Personally, since Norgu is the only Mesmer I would go with him. This is especially true if your primary is a melee character, you will usually not want a Dervish with Koss and Goren as two of your heroes.

Plus the fact that there aren't a lot of 'specialised' things that people use Warrior heroes for. They just stand there and try to avoid being killed - something Henchmen are reasonably good at, and certainly not something you want to use 2 of your 3 hero slots on. Having 2 SF Ele heroes, yes. Having 2 B/P Ranger heros, yes. Having two Sever Artery/Gash/Plague Touch Warrior heros, not really.

Norgu's the clear choice when Koss and Devona get the job done well enough.

Norgu is 1 of a kind.

Goren is actively shown to be thick as pig shit during questing/missions and will only ever be a Koss duplicate.

I don't even use my first Koss, why would i use a second...

Besides on my Dervish i usually ran Dunkoro as Strength of Honour/Judges Insight smiter, Zhed as water hexer and Olias as MM, Odurra the 'illusion'/full domination hench can take over Norgu's role...

If you actually want to use a mesmer, pick Norgu. If you don't want to use a mesmer, but haven't picked Goren before, just pick him up and try out his quests. If you don't bother with quests, then it doesn't matter what you do.

PS: As already mentioned, there's no difference between Koss AI and Goren AI.
