Editting your guild wars account info...

WHEN WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO EDIT THEIR GUILD WARS ACCOUNT INFO LIKE ANY OTHER NORMAL PROGRAM?

My question to you all: any way to edit the account info, legally?

Log on to Guild Wars and click "Edit Info" at the bottom left I believe. And here I am trying to UNLINK my account from PlayNC, because I can no longer change my login e-mail.

I can't change a thing.

I click that edit info, click change password, and guess what?

click that pale blue link

log into your master NCsoft account

select *manage* to change everything except the email login on the login screen.

takes less than 2 minutes to change the login screen pass as i just timed it now while switching it

I would need to link the accounts before it'd be useful, and when I try to link it the only way it says, it messes up.

I have been having the same exact problem with my account, whats even worse, is I think someone hacked my account. I emailed PLAYNC and still nothing that will help and oh yeah, they said "Sorry about your recent mishaps, we hope you can resolve your problems. Thank you NCSoft Support" What the heck is that?????? One last question, it's silly but, why under my name does it say Pre-Searing Cadet? And how do I change that? I have been playing GW since a month after the first chapters realese. Pre -Searing Cadet my butt. lol

did you use the

*this did not solve my problem * link to update the support ticket and tell them it is not solved?

they were very helpful to me in getting a similar mess straightened out

It's a GWGuru-only ranking system, based on the number of posts..

The more you get, the seemingly more 'skilled' your title becomes.

The "Pre-Searing Cadet" title is the forums default title they give you when you first register your account on Guildwarsguru.com. The only way you can change that is to increase your post number.

This is an old thread but I'm having a similar problem. I created an NCSoft account so I could register my retail box key codes and protect them a little better in case of being hacked.

I created my account, logged in, and entered my Prophecies key code only to be told "That is an in invalid code." So I tried my Nightfall code and got the same error message. Why?! All of these codes are added to my Guild Wars account so they are obviously valid...
