Hi folks,
Because of Guild Wars: Factions released almost 10 months ago, I think it's reasonable to raise this question and ask ArenaNet to make some vital improvements to the /deaths counter system and the way it's handling the kills in the game so that the Survivor characters who haven't died a single time in PvE will be able to engage in PvP activities. The suggestion itself is plain and simple: to divide all of the missions in Guild Wars by two types: PvP & PvE maps and make it so that dying in PvP will not result in a stop of your character's Survivor title. In my opinion, counting deaths this way is the easiest solution, comparing to judging the type of a death issued by each critter. In addition to that system, to prevent the Survivors from farming their skill points in PvP areas, it could also be made so that they will always gain 0 exp points for any kill made on PvP maps.
I really would like to hear your feedback on that topic. Do you like the idea, find it necessary or it's something your characters can live their lives without? Also, I'd like to make one more suggestion regarding the farming of chest titles:
I think it might be a good improvement to the game to mark the chests as golden dots on the radar map, so that the players will be able to know there's a certain chest in the area without using the Alt key. Then, after the chest has been opened by a player, it could turn into a golden dot of a darker color. What do you think about it?
Cheers,
Dmitri.
